Facing our daydreams.
Daydreaming can be a powerful tool for self-reflection, problem solving, and creativity. It allows us to explore different scenarios and ideas in our minds and can help us process our emotions and experiences.
However, it is important to not get too lost in our daydreams and to find a balance between them and our everyday lives. Facing our daydreams, whether they are positive or negative, can also help us better understand ourselves and our motivations. By taking the time to contemplate and reflect on our daydreams, we can gain insight into our desires, fears, and challenges. This self-awareness can then help us make more informed decisions in our daily lives and better navigate our relationships and goals.

ATC trading card ❤️❤️
Feeling inspired by my latest collage art piece, which tackles the theme of fight, flight, or freeze. These primal responses to danger or stress are something we all experience in one form or another, and I wanted to explore that in my art. Swipe to see the different layers of this piece come together 🖋️

Tears of joy, tears of pain, all fed from our reservoir of passion and love. Both required to realize our strength - both essential to learning to trust the depths of how we are guided and gaining openness to learn.

Just a seed sprouting into a blossom that displays their own unique beauty amoung a garden of other seedlings doing the same.
When looked at as a whole, creates a vibrate tapestry - a sea of color, shape, and smell moving in unison with the energy of the earth.

Existing in the space between our passions and our fears, that which we dream about and that which haunts us is just that - existing.
Everyone spends time there and it’s OK. We feel the fear and weight of self judgement if we determine we’ve been there too long, trying to control the parameters of our life and brute force our way out. Most times this leads us to feel exhausted and drowning in self judgment.
In these moments think about your passions, what lights you up. Surrender to that feeling and take the next step, large or small as it may be, in that direction. Our light is always there, the more we step into it, the brighter it becomes and the more free we feel.

A whirlwind of changes as of late! Moving to an amazing new space and new city I’ve been longing to explore, a mother of a now high school graduate, hosting loving family in town to celebrate, COVID finally caught me, and making exciting travel plans for work through the rest of the year.
My new creative space is finally coming together and I am so excited to get to sit back down and reconnect.
😘😘
