I noticed -shame on me- I forgot to include at least on person to our swap… 🙄🙈 I am so sorry. 😔

So please, if there is anybody out there who wants to swap one or more ATCs in April - this is your chance!

For the first I have to offer
3 ATCs #springflower
3 ATCs #freestyle
3 ATCs #hedgehog

The ATCs go to Berlin and Florida.

Who is interested?

📣 Calling all analog collage artists! (Newbies welcome!)

🏝 Are you interested in being a contestant? If so, please let me know in the comments.

✂️ 🏝 ✂️ 🏝 ✂️ 🏝

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:
10 analog collage artists--be they seasoned or new to collage--willing to try new things, and who aren't bothered by playfully (and anonymously) voting fellow collage artists off the island.

WHAT THIS IS:
Collage Island is a Survivor-esque collage competition, hosted by me, in real time.
There are 5 weekly themes (see slide 2 for details).

WHEN:
For 5 weeks, starting July 3rd.

HOW:
Each competitor will received the 5 weekly collage packets by mail, before the start of the competition.
Each packet will contain 15-20 pages, as well as that week's special element. (*Please note: Everything included is genuine. None are printed reproductions.)
Each Sunday afternoon, I will post details of that week's challenge. The competitors will have until Saturday evening to post their completed collage to the public.
On Sunday, they will (anonymously) vote off two of their fellow collage artists.

WINNER DETAILS:
In addition to being crowned winner of Collage Island (with all bragging rights!), the winner also will win:
- a year's subscription to National Geographic magazine,
- a year's supply of X-acto blades (200 blades)
-along with a bunch of other surprise collage materials and goodies!

Well sadly I’m off Collage Island. I’ve gone fishing………actually golfing!🤣

I had fun participating in #collageisland_seasonone and getting to know the other very talented Islanders.

Kudos to @sarah.snip.snip for hosting this competition. Hopefully there’ll be a Season Two!

Best wishes to the remaining Islanders! I’ll be following you avidly and cheering you on.
Good luck and goodbye!👋👋

On wards! 🌴😁✂️🌴

Week 3 waits for no man--or woman!

.

Hi all, I'm a tad under the weather over here and so I remain unusually behind on posting--super BIG apologies.

Because of that, you'll need to make do with images 🤷‍♀️ that's the *ahem* fun of running a LIVE competition 😅

.

SWIPE TO SEE WEEK 2'S VOTING RESULTS, and our guest expert this week--my mom!! 🥰🤗

.

Be sure to give her lots of love in the comments--both of the planned guest experts fell through this week and she stepped up and delivered (and at the last minute, I might add!)

I'm so grateful, mom--you're number one ☝😘

Okay, I'm off to nap...

Good luck, Islanders!!

❤❤❤

P.S. To everyone watching: feel free to bust out your own gold foil and get creative with Gods & Goddesses... be sure to tag it #GoldFoilCollage so everyone else can see it 🤗

Hooray! Made it through to Week Two of #collageisland_seasonone the collage competition hosted by @sarah.snip.snip

This week I and the 7 other remaining Islanders must create Comic Cards incorporating materials from our packages.

This should be………..fun??!!😳
Stay tuned🤗

🌴 Hello Week 2!! 😎🍹🌴

.

In today's episode, we say, "see you later, alligator" to 2 of the Islanders, as well as unpack another week on the Island.

.

🃏 This week's theme is Comic Cards! 🃏

The Islanders will use vintage 1970s comics to collage on playing cards--but they must also creatively incorporate a matching mini playing card 😍🤏

To help with some tips and tricks with playing card collages, I've asked guest experts, Ben @biblioexcavations and Ima @beehivesandbouffants .
(Swipe to see their videos)

.

Stay tuned for Wednesday, when I'll be speaking to our Week 1 Golden Scissors winner, Inga!

(* 😁✂️ And for those wanting to play along--please do!! Grab a playing card, collage on some comics and post it with the hastag: #ComicCardCollage

Be sure to check out my latest Guide for inspiration 😎 )

.

🌴 Good luck, Islanders!! 🌴
