✨ TRIFECTA ✨
Still pinching ourselves… John Farnham: The Voice Inside has just taken out Best Audiobook, Best Memoir, and the ultimate honour — ABIA Book of the Year 2025!

Huge congratulations to all the other winners and nominees — what a night.

Sitting across from John and listening to him share his story was nothing short of profound. To then be supported and encouraged to turn that into a bestseller by two incredible women — Vanessa Radnidge and @gaynorwheatley — made the whole journey an absolute joy.

Endless thanks to everyone who believed in this book, read it, listened to it, shared it, and lived it. And of course, to the man whose voice changed a nation — this one’s for you. 💛🎤

Big love to our publishing family @hatchetteaus and to partner-in-projects @gaynorwheatley.

Thanks for the smacker @gigiamazonia 💋

And big ups to the crowd for singing and dancing along — and to the ever-fabulous @myfwarhurst for the top-tier MC'ing.

Honoured to give the keynote at the @historyvictoria Victorian Community History Awards for @publicrecordofficevictoria this week.

I was asked to share insights on capturing the history of Aussie music in both the #johnfarnham documentary and the book

I spent years immersed in John’s story—trawling through endless hours of video, audio, and articles—but had never met him. Sitting down to co-write the book with the legend himself was nothing short of profound. It also made me reflect on what an incredible few years it’s been—how lucky I’ve been to shepherd this extraordinary chapter of Australian music history.

History isn’t just about the people in the spotlight—it’s about those behind the scenes, making the calls that shift everything. Like @cherie_rom, who took a chance on You’re the Voice and played it on 2Day FM when no one else would even listen.

Congrats to all the nominees and winners. The stories we tell today shape how future generations understand who we are. So keep telling them. Keep finding the voices that need to be heard.

Insane.
Thanks to @hachetteaus & @gaynorwheatley and everyone that helped me on this wonderful project. Most of all the legend himself.

If you say you can, you can.
