WORLD SICKLE CELL DAY 2026

“Hope Through Awareness. Strength Through Support.”

Today, we stand with millions of warriors living with Sickle Cell Disease.

Let us raise awareness, encourage genotype testing, promote early diagnosis, and support individuals and families affected by sickle cell.

Together, we can reduce stigma, inspire hope, and create a future where every warrior receives the care and support they deserve.#worldsicklecell #princejacobfoundation #Nigeria by @prince.jacob.foundation

As we mark Democracy Day, we reflect on the Nigeria we have and the Nigeria we hope to build.

A nation where every citizen feels safe.
A nation where opportunities are accessible.
A nation where leadership serves the people.

DEMOCRACY IS MORE THAN VOTING.

It is the courage to demand accountability.
It is the responsibility to make informed choices.
It is the commitment to building a nation that works for all.

This Democracy Day, let us remember that the future of Nigeria is shaped not only by our leaders, but by the choices we make as citizens.

Let us choose wisely, participate actively, and never stop believing in a better Nigeria. #happydemocracyday#Nigeria#princejacobfoundation by @prince.jacob.foundation

Our hearts are with those waiting, hoping, and holding on.

Children belong in classrooms, on playgrounds, and in the loving arms of their families—not in situations that threaten their future and well-being.

Today, we lend our voice in solidarity with every affected family.

May peace find every child. May hope remain alive.

We will not pretend that innocent children and their teachers are not still being held captive. 💔

Today is a painful reminder that many families are not celebrating. They are still waiting, praying, and hoping for the safe return of their children.

We will not be silent.

This is more than a tour. This is impact in motion. 🎥✨

From classroom conversations to powerful moments of learning, the Financial Literacy Tour was a reminder that knowledge truly changes lives. Watching students engage, ask questions, and begin to see money differently was incredibly rewarding.

The future belongs to financially informed young people — and this is only the beginning. 💰📚

Watch the highlights from an unforgettable journey at @dcherub_school 👏🤗

Building wealth in your 20s is not about looking rich. It’s about building the right habits early.

During our Financial Literacy Tour, we had conversations with students about money, growth, discipline, and making smarter financial decisions for the future.

So we decided to bring some of that conversation here too.

Swipe through for 5 practical things you should start doing in your 20s if you want to build real wealth.

Which point stood out to you the most?👇

DAY TWO:

Classrooms filled with curiosity, questions, laughter, and life-changing conversations about money. 💡✨

For Day 2, @akinsolaolamide did not just teach, she poured into everyone present in the room. Her session eminded us that when young people are equipped with knowledge, they can shape a better future for themselves and their communities.

We are super thankful to D’CHERUB School for letting us do our bit to raise smart earners, savers, investors, and leaders. 💰📖

It’s never a one-man job. They say it takes a whole village to raise a child, and if we are going to spread the message of financial education, we cannot do it alone.

We visited two schools, and it was a huge success. We are grateful to the schools and students who welcomed us, grateful to the speakers who came out with us and shared value that even adults seek to learn, and grateful to our sponsors, partners, and every member of the team who made this a reality.

Two schools are not enough… we hope to reach many more very soon.

But for today, thank you! ❤️ #Princejacobfoundation

IMPACTFUL!

That is the word to describe the combined session with School Masters Academy, and First Pentagon College. It was an atmosphere charged purely by the students willingness to learn, and their curiosity about finances.
This is proof that raising a financially smarter generation can look like this; a one on one conversation about the long-term benefits of being financially conscious.

Thank you to School Masters Academy, and First Pentagon College for giving us the room to impact upon the lives of your students. They turned out to be a very eager crowd and our prayer is that their eagerness to learn is a flame that will burn brighter and brighter.
