Grateful for the incredible support we received from the Opolo Community Secondary School staff. Their openness, kindness, and commitment made our outreach smoother and even more impactful.

People like this remind us that real change happens when communities work together — supporting, educating, and empowering the next generation.
We say a big thank you for standing with us and for believing in the vision.

Together, we’re making an impact— one step at a time.

We created a safe and open environment where students could talk, learn, and share freely about menstruation and hygiene.

@carthysreach and @prince.jacob.foundation, we believe that period education empowers, and no girl should ever feel ashamed, unprepared, silenced, or discriminated against.

Our mission is to help raise a generation of confident, informed, bold, intelligent, and healthy young men and women.

Together, we’re making impact—one step at a time.

This initiative goes beyond giving out pads or discussing menstruation. It is about teaching both boys and girls that periods are nothing to be ashamed of, but something to be embraced with pride.

Our Padagirl Initiative recently took us to Opolo Community Secondary School, Opolo-Epie, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where we had the privilege of engaging with the students.

We delivered a session on period poverty with the theme “Understanding Periods — Breaking the Stigma, Restoring Dignity.”
The outreach supports our mission to help girls feel confident, safe, and unashamed. We believe no girl should miss school because of her period—your period doesn’t define you; your courage and dreams do.

During our interactive talk, we encouraged the girls to embrace their periods with confidence, reminding them that menstruation is a sign of strength and growth. We also spoke to the boys about showing support, avoiding discrimination, and helping create safe spaces for their female classmates. Their enthusiasm—especially from the boys—was truly inspiring.

We sincerely appreciate the students and staff of Opolo Community Secondary School for their warm reception and openness.

Together, we’re making impact—one step at a time.

This Saturday, WeareproducHERs kicks off the very first edition of our Music Production Workshop in Lagos.

This year’s edition is led by Gbots and Bodaxious, two highly skilled producers and mixing engineers who will guide participants through DAWs like Ableton and FL Studio, helping them bring their creative ideas to life.

We’re also proud to be supported by our incredible partners: Grey Woulfe, Prince Jacob Foundation, Yaruwa Sessions, The Upper Ent, Purp Kulture, The 49th Street, Purple Jazz, Notesphere, Lyfe, and By The Girls.

This is just the beginning, a step toward putting women producers on the map, and breaking barriers.💗

A reminder that what society hides, nature celebrates. Periods are not a burden — they are beauty in motion.

The more we talk about periods, the easier it becomes for everyone to understand and support one another. Let’s make period conversations natural, not awkward.

Period poverty matters!

Periods shouldn’t dictate a girl’s future. Let’s break the silence and break the cycle.

Together we can make a difference.

At Carthy’sReach, in collaboration with @prince.jacob.foundation we’re dedicated to empowering young girls by providing access to sanitary pads, educating them about their bodies,
and empowering them with knowledge that protects their dignity and shapes brighter futures.

This is more than an NGO, it’s a movement of hope, love, and change.
We believe in creating positive change together!

It takes every hand to create a community. We believe that real change happens when we come together hand in hand, heart to heart. Every hand extended, every voice raised, and every effort, no matter how small, makes a difference in building a stronger, supportive, and inclusive community.

Together, we are stronger. ❤️
