‼️Acompáñenos el miércoles 5/27 a las 5pm‼️

La ciudad de Coachella hablará sobre su acuerdo con Stronghold Power.

Aunque se necesita una revisión del acuerdo de abogados externos para poder determinar los problemas para terminar el acuerdo, lo que propone la ciudad por $10k a $25k NO HACE ESO.
La ciudad solo busca revisar el acuerdo para asegurar sea “razonable”. QUE MIERDA ES ESO.

Calipatria, Brawley, y la ciudad de Imperial han tomado medidas para evitar la construction de centros de datos en sus comunidades.

@officialcityofcoachella tiene que terminar el acuerdo AHORA MISMO.
Coachella tiene que implementar una ordenanza para prevenir los centros de datos AHORA MISMO.

‼️PULL UP WED. 5/27 AT 5pm‼️

The City Council will be discussing its agreement with Stronghold Power.

While third party legal review of the City’s agreement with Stronghold Power is needed to ultimately identify how its problematic and must be terminated, the review that the city is proposing to do for $10k - $25k IS NOT THAT. The City only wants to review the agreement to ensure it’s “reasonable.” WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT.

Calipatria, Brawley, and Imperial have taken action to stop data center development in their cities.

@officialcityofcoachella must drop the agreement NOW.

It is May 💐
The end of May but May none the less!

We have 1 more Book Club meeting and we will be taking a hiatus for a few months while the summer can get pretty intense 🌞

Our Next Book Club Meeting will be on

The Indio Public Library
From 3-5pm

The Book we will be discussing is
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradury

Even if you haven't read the book,
You are still welcome to join and be part of the discussion,
to learn about the book,
and maybe even be inspired to read it in the future.

The objective of this book club isn't to assign homework,
But rather to encourage people to read more often and make reading a daily practice 📖
