Health post

Here's a list of my current medical diagnoses and the treatments I use for them.

Please remember that health is not one size fits all. I do not generalize because what works for me may not work for someone else with the same diagnosis.

Video showing four different pictures of food dishes with text over them.

Pic 1 text: My medical diagnoses and treatments.
Diagnosis: Genetic high cholesterol
Treatment: Atorvastatin (aka Lipitor) + nutritionist

Pic 2 text: Diagnosis: Kidney stones (16 mm blocking up the right kidney, still have small ones in the left)
Treatment: Laser surgery + lemon water/citrus pills + nutritionist

Pic 3 text: Diagnosis: Pre-diabetic
Treatment: Nutritionist

Pic 4: Diagnosis: Generalized anxiety disorder
Treatment: Escitalopram (aka Lexapro)+ therapy
Diagnosis: Autism
Treatment: Therapy + service dog by @purplewolfdragon

This year's theme is injuries.
I took @ssd.reba to a friend's doggo bday party and she was so excited she pulled me onto some rocks. This time it's my right one, which was surgically repaired many years ago so it usually bounces back more quickly.

On the other hand, watching her play keep away with 11 other dogs for 1.5 hours was amazing! by @purplewolfdragon

We needed exercise and it's raining so temps are down enough to walk to @bluesheepbakeshop for Friday ice cream. My reward for surviving this week is Italian rainbow + Dubai chocolate. by @purplewolfdragon

Some days, I'm super productive despite the humidity and heat, but then when I try to talk to people (even online) my autism kicks in to remind me why I'm not always that productive. Even good energy days have limits.

So instead of making those people do my emotional labor, I baked. Coping skills ftw.
