MEET THE COACH: Quentin O’Connor

Playing background: I have played across many different levels of baseball. I started my college career at Yakima Valley College, where I had a lot of ups and downs. During my time there I learned so much about myself not only as a player but as a person through all my struggles and successes there. I went and trained at driveline the summer after my sophomore year and that’s when I started to make big changes. I’ve then transferred to Whitworth University where I would say I found myself as player and a person. Throughout my time at Whitworth I picked up a lot on how to develop not only myself but others around me. After my time in college ball, I took a gap year and kept training and eventually earned myself in opportunity to play professionally in the pioneer league (MLB partnered league). I’m still playing and continuing my career today.

Coaching experience:
. Pitching and performance coach at NBP where I specialized in Pitching and weight training.

. Currently the Pitching Coach at Whitworth University

MY MISSION: With Q performance my mission is simple. I want to help athletes become the best version of themselves by giving them a program that is tailored to them and help them reach their goals of playing at the highest level.

The past 4 years have changed my life forever. I would not be the person I am today without every single person I have met along the way. The people I have met have brought true happiness and memories that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Thank you to my family, friends, and coaches that have always been there to support me through everything.

For the game of baseball I don’t even know where to start. I’ve loved this game my entire life and don’t know where I would be without it. I have met some of my closest friends in life and have made memories that are gonna last me a lifetime. Baseball has always been a number one priority for me in my life. If you know my story, you know baseball has been the one thing in my life that has always made me happy no matter what’s going on. From playing two years at Yakima Valley College to finishing up at Whitworth University and winning a Northwest conference championship. My college baseball career has been unforgettable and has given me a lifetime of memories.

I am so thankful for everybody that’s been a part of my journey and a part of my life the last four years. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without these people.
