POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Decided to open the #AuthorVisibilityQuest by the amazing @chaptersoncaffeine with the freshly-made #agentsguide for The Son of Nexus, my adult romantic science fantasy that I'm currently querying. 🌑

PITCH: To save her dying planet and prevent a galactic explosion, a human rebel is forced to unite with a half-human enemy soldier sent to infiltrate her ranks. But when a quantum link entangles their thoughts, sensations, and emotions, the secrets between them become too heavy to hold—and saving the galaxy may require a sacrifice neither is prepared to make.

If you love (true) enemies-to-lovers, character-driven stories, strong-willed women, slow burn, and telepathy, you'll probably like this. 🌌

Things you'll find:
🎭 Dual POV
🫂 Found family
🪢 Physical & mental bond
🧎🏾 Male yearning
🗡️ FMC who takes no s***
✨ Nickname as insult & endearment

COMPS: Ocean's Echo x The Blighted Stars x Mass Effect

Thanks to my loveliest @libraryofvv for the post inspo. ✨

Big change ahead! As I said, I'm afraid of changes, but I felt like this needed to happen. It's so bittersweet because the_bookworm_affair is my first and original username... Can't believe we're parting ways 😭

I'm still Du! I'm still here and writing and querying and surviving and looking forward to hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones. ✨

That's it from me.

Love,
Quinn 🤭

Guess what, ya girl finally decided to finish outlining Nexus 2 while enjoying the final remnants of warmth before we say goodbye to the cottage for the season 🏡💔

Hey @jessicatanwrites here's another Fox for you 🤪

I don't know what I'm doing here in Photoshop but I'm doing it ✨ (go easy on me I cry easily)

If you've been following my drawing journey, you'll know that I always avoided coloring/rendering because I don't know how to do it and I never knew where to start and then I'd end up getting overwhelmed and just quitting and sticking to lineart 😅

Twelve-year-old me (who ripped up her drawings if anyone ever laid eyes on them) would crash out knowing present-me shared this online lol but change and exiting your comfort zone is a part of life and I must do so even though my perfectionism wanted me to delete this 583947 times, but you gotta start somewhere am I right?

I've always struggled with convincing my brain that practice makes perfect and that I'm not a failure because I magically can't perfect a skill on the first try lol

Well guess what brain, this is far from perfect but I am sharing it!!! And I will do this again until I get better at it!! You can't hurt me!!!

Also thanks @color__my__words for a new hyperfixation song 😂

Also sorry Fox I can't draw your tattoo nor stick it on from this angle, thats a whole other beast I am not dealing with right now 💅🏻

For day 4 of the #authorvisibilityquest I am making y'all choose!

Here are four places from my book "The Son of Nexus." Pick one and swipe to the last slide to see if you'd survive there 👀

Day 3 of #authorvisibilityquest and I don't think this was even technically a prompt... I combined something in my head 😂

Other than that, I really need to draw these character some more, sheesh I'm getting sick of recycling the same artwork 😅

THE SON OF NEXUS is an adult dual-POV enemies-to-lovers science fantasy featuring a quantum bond, a dystopian society, alien politics, and a very slow burn. ❤️‍🔥

Currently querying, so stay tuned for updates! 🗡️

Okay I'm late with Day 1 of the #authorvisibilityquest because I was traveling home yesterday 😭 so I'll try to get two posts up today.

Anyway!

THE SON OF NEXUS is an adult dual-POV romantic science fantasy featuring a quantum bond, a dystopian society, alien politics, and a very slow burn. ❤️‍🔥

If you think this sounds like your cup of tea, let's be friends!

I'm currently querying, so stay tuned 🗡️
