POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is just a portion of who I was before I encountered Christ. You may see a guy that maybe had a little “too much fun”. But I see a guy who was empty and broken, searching for fulfillment from a world that did nothing but break me down. At first I just tried to stop doing a lot of things, so that I could look like I was following Jesus. I found out quickly that doesn’t work. Though Jesus may transform your ways, He yearns to touch your heart first! Everything you do comes from your heart (Matthew 12:35). I had to stop trying to clean the outside of my cup, while the inside was filthy. Though it appears clean that cup cannot be used (Luke 11:37-41)! It wasn’t until I finally looked inside of the cup and asked Jesus for help, that transformation actually started to happen.

I used to think that being made new meant I had to act like the past never happened and throw away all of who I used to be. This had me walking around trying to “look perfect” instead of allowing real transformation to happen. After surrender and over time Jesus showed me that my personality wasn’t the problem, my sin was! And He showed me that my sin was no longer my identity, it’s my testimony! He taught me to let go of other people’s opinions about me and to learn what God says about me! If you’re going through this identity shift or think your sin is too much to turn from…I’m here to tell you that Jesus is bigger than it ALL! Trust Him and He will take care of you!🙏🏾 by @r0be4t

We all know about the story of Abraham in the Bible, but let me tell you about this Abraham!

I met my friend Abraham a few weeks ago at Chick Fil-A one morning! When I saw Abraham the Lord put it on my heart to ask to pay for his meal! Abraham was smiling from ear to ear before I could even shake his hand and ask his name! On today I walk into a Publix with my brother Khalil after a day of prayer and evangelism on campus and guess who I see? Abraham! I see him and he screams man! I say, “man I remember you, I met you at Chick Fil-A!” He said he remembered me also. We talked for a second, he told me it was his birthday and I just asked him what he wanted out of the store! Honestly he asked for three things…the food he picked up, a beer, and help paying for his prescription!

As we walked to the prescription aisle I kept hearing him say Jesus’ name! He kept saying, “In Jesus precious holy name!” At that point I knew this was going to be more than a “good deed” at the grocery store! God had more to offer! I started to ask him his thoughts on Jesus and he was ecstatic to talk about his Lord and Savior! Said He’s the reason he’s able to breathe, eat, and get his prescription today! I started to talk to him about giving his life to Jesus and honestly I could see he got a little discouraged! We paid for the prescription, got to the car, and continued to talk.

After some conversation I saw why he got a little discouraged! No one had ever told him the truth of the Gospel! He thought he had to work and do good things to receive God’s love and make it into Heaven, but that is far from the Truth! Khalil and I told Abraham all about the Good News and it was like Abraham’s whole entire thought process on life changed!

Prophetically, earlier that day the Holy Spirit urged Khalil to grab two towels before we went to go pray on campus! With that knowledge I asked Abraham if he wanted to be baptized! He said, “yes but I’ll backslide.” I told him “that’s the reason you give your life to Jesus! He died for your past, present, and future sins, but He also changes your heart and leads you to live the life He desires for us to live if we let Him!” (next slide)

He even felt guilty by @r0be4t

Revival is rising🖤Saw the Lord move at Walmart. So many souls were touched through Jesus Christ

Hearing various life problems from every end of the spectrum made me realize something, we can’t even fathom the amount of strength and provision that God is giving in all of our lives all at the same time.

Deep worries about work, family, health, addiction, anxiety, uncertainty, depression, and MUCH more, are all covered by the same exact blood and sacrifice.

I encourage you to lend a listening ear to someone this week and pray for them even if they feel as if prayer won’t help them. We know that’s a trick of the enemy to create the feeling of hopelessness. We will win in the end. God is the greatest. taken in Walmart Troy by @r0be4t

The struggles may show up in the physical, but the influence is always in the SPIRITUAL! The Word of God FEEDS and STRENGTHENS our Spirit! We are victorious in the Spirit therefore we WAR IN THE SPIRIT! The question is are you equipped???

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬
