Last dance

After 26yrs of rugby, battling my way through 4 countries for 8 awesome clubs. I will retire with a final deal for this upcoming 24-25 season. Official announcement to follow via social media.

Firstly I’d like to thank the clubs and players I’ve played with, and for over the years!

I have never been the most super talented player but still managed to use rugby as a tool to take me all over the world and helped me meet the most important people in my life, and I’m looking forward to signing off this upcoming season.

The work behind the partnership is taking shape.

At TREE11, Alcmaria Flames youth players completed their first off-ice assessments. It gives the players and coaches a clear starting point for training. Later this season, they’ll test again and see their progress.

2nd time lucky @afcajax

Not all work and no play! We made time to watch the game (2x thanks to the F Side 😂) Shoutout @marijnbeukerofficial for the hospitality. The Captains Club is insane! Rubbing shoulders with legends like Louis van Gaal and Nigel de Jong 😂 and watching @d.konadu_ in action was also awesome after many years of hard work with @physio_kerem my guy 🫡

“Fouten maken is geen bewijs van zwakte, maar een teken dat je aan het leren bent.”

Just finished my first-ever Dutch book from start to finish — and what a good one to start with.

Bart’s take on developing a growth mindset gave me a lot of confidence in the processes I was already following. It’s always reassuring when the science and the experience line up.

I’ve really enjoyed sparring with Bart about how to bring these ideas into my business ventures and personal development — and even more so, developing a genuine friendship along the way.

The concept of continuous growth and reflection has always resonated with me — this book just put extra fuel on that fire. Open your hand!
