Anthony Miler’s exhibition Numerous Concerns at SHRINE in New York presents more than 1,000 letter-sized drawings on paper installed as a massive grid spanning nearly 100 feet across the gallery — a highly personal visual diary made over 18 years of daily practice in graphite, ink, and paint. Made privately and never intended to be exhibited, the works bear shoe prints, smudges, and general wear and tear, and range from sketches to entire worlds unto themselves.
