normalise going out without make up because you feel good in your skin.

normalise a calm mind because you've learned to set boundaries.

normalise living in alignment with yourself because you trust your intuition.

normalise being quietly confident because you know you are worthy of choosing yourself 🤍

As women, we often have a deep need for harmony in our relationships.

But this comes with a hidden cost:

😔 Feeling responsible for managing everyone else’s emotions.

Many people unconsciously believe that:

Saying no will disappoint someone.
Reinforcing boundaries will create conflict.
Speaking up for yourself will lead to judgment.

But disappointment, conflict, or criticism is often just evidence that two people have different needs and perspectives.

Nothing more.
Nothing less.

💔 There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she realizes that keeping everyone happy is slowly destroying her from within.

👉🏽 You are always rushing.
👉🏽 You feel drained and tired.
👉🏽 You sacrifice your body, your health, your rest.
👉🏽 You lose touch with yourself.

A woman regains her power by committing to no longer abandoning herself.

Even if it means disappointing someone, disagreeing, or learning to navigate healthy conflict.

She begins to understand that the only responsibility she has is to remain true to herself and honest to others. 🤍

Just one class out of 3 got booked today, so I’m catching up on the invisible work behind the scenes.

Some admin work, preparing the welcome package for the new members, making sure the space is clean and stocking up on all the ingredients for your post-class orders ☕️🍰

I can't tell you how many times I've asked myself why didn't i try harder to simply conform to a regular job and instead, find myself pouring every i have into creating and growing a space that doesn't feel like just another gym.

but every time i step back into the studio,

see you peacefully drift away in your Savasana,

or forget about time whilst chatting away with your friend in the lounge,

i remember why.

because we all crave the exact same beautiful thing —
living a life where we do everything from the heart, with people and places that makes us want to be present.

because ive been there too.

unrealistic company goals, deadlines and expectations to meet. meeting after meeting without ever feeling heard or acknowledged, toxic work colleagues that make your job 10x harder, a constant pressure to perform otherwise you are worthless and overtime i never got paid for.

desperately waiting for weekends or holidays so that i could simply sleep and mayyyybe have enough energy and time to finally look after myself.

in a world that values work and productivity over our health, be the person who has the courage to say no or step away when your mental and physical health is being threatened.

i promise, it's just not worth it.

changed my running shoes, work on strengthening my ankles, improving my running technique and the knee pain is gone.

every runner knows that feeling of running pain free again after months of having to understand, learn and accept your body's limitations.

getting injured despite of all the effort, time and attention i've poured into building a resilient and capable body has highlighted how important everything is when it comes to training — running specifically in this case. that includes the way you warm-up and prepare your body for some intensity.

here are 6 warm-up exercises you will see me perform before each of my runs.

1. Arm swings
→ let your whole upper body and rib cage move with it, running is not just a lower body sport.

2. reach to forward fold
→ inhale on your way up, exhale on your way down and fold deeper everytime.

3. high knee to low-lunge
→ pause a second at the top to engage your hip flexors and work on your stability, reach back as far as you can (maybe even with a straight leg) each time you step back.

4. biiig hip circles
→ place your feet wider than shoulder width appart. keep your legs straight and initiate your circle from your hip, not from your upper body.

5. cossack squats
→ both heels stay on the floor, start gently and increase the range of motion as your hips open. Leaning your upper body away from the bent leg will increase the intensity of the stretch.

6. ankle toe half-circles
→ draw the biggest half-circles you can with your toes. make sure the opposite ankle is active and working hard to keep you stable.

a few minutes of intentional mobility can change how you run, how you recover and how your body grows with you overtime.

🔥 if you've started running (or are getting back into it) you need to start building a strong foundation ↓

is fear making you hold on to relationship, standards, a job or a version of yourself you know you should let go of?

do you have enough reasons to justify holding on to that fear regardless of the clutter, mess or huge amount of energy it's taking away from each moment you get to live?

humans love to hold on to people, situations, habits or places whilst endlessly dreaming about a life of freedom and abundance — not realising that the only person responsible for building a prison they desperately try to escape from, is no one else but themselves.

from having no clue about what i'm doing to living a life on my own terms.

here are the 5 most important skills i've developed to become the self-led woman i am today.

1. i became a great cook 👩‍🍳
I never realised how much happiness, connection and value can be found in being a woman who loves her kitchen.

Improving my cooking skills has allowed me to take much better care of my body and my health, which then extended into a love language for the people I cherish.

2. i make money by being myself 💰
When you allow yourself to push beyond the boundaries of “shoulds” “, do's”, and “don’ts”, you arrive in a place where your curiosity ends up paying your bills. You realise that the path of society is an option, not an obligation.

3. feeling safe in my own company 🌻
you go through life differently when you understand and accept that you are the only person who can hold yourself. when you choose healing and understanding yourself over avoidance, you arrive in a place in life where performance replaces presence. and when there is presence, there is love and safety.

4. saying no 🤷🏽‍♀️
i’m not interested in building connections with a version of myself that is accommodating to others. Saying NO (and being harshly judged for it) has freed up so much space, energy and time in my life that i get to pour into projects, people, and myself instead, which is all i truly care about.

5. not caring about other people’s opinion 💆🏽‍♀️
No one knows and understands you better than yourself. which also means that you are the best person to define the value you have and how you want to be treated. let your own opinion of yourself be what’s most important, and make sure you stick to the promises and standards you set for yourself.

don't let the only skills you master be the ones that make you employable to your current job. there is so much more potential to person you are and the life you deserve to live.

A woman becomes emotionally mature by letting everything she thought she depended on collapse and dissolve in front of her.

The love of her father.

The validation of men.

The support of other women.

The confirmation that she is enough.

She becomes whole by filling herself up with her own love.

And the certainty that she will be loved forever because she chose to believe she deserves to be a woman who consistently shows up for herself.

when a woman becomes more passionate about her internal world than the external rhythm, standards and expectations of society, she transforms into a living work of art.

The more curiosity, time and attention she pours into herself, the more love and abundance will start pouring out of her.

Her own cup will be so full that it will leak into the world, making everyone around her feel drawn to the purest expression of her own love and truth.

This is a woman who can give love, patience, presence, understanding, peace, guidance and power to others, because she all found it first, within herself.

I created a whole course on how to restructure a life around your body’s needs, your health and your relationship to yourself called CHOOSING HEALTH.

my next cohort (group course coaching) is starting on March 2nd 2026. first link in my bio if you are ready to devote your life to loving yourself.

For a woman, nourishment is not just about calories or aesthetics.

It is about safety.

Your nervous system reacts to everything.

Every skipped meal.
Every new restrictive diet.
Every highly processed food.
Every “I need to punish myself for eating X”

When you consistently feed your body real food — warm, grounding, nutrient-dense meals — your relationship with your body changes, because you are finally teaching your body what it always needed to hear:

“you are safe”
“i care about you”
“you don’t have to resist or fight anymore”

the body immediately softens 🫂

→ the inflammation lowers
→ the cycle regulates
→ the cravings calm down
→ the emotions and mood stabilise

not becuase you forced anything.
but because you created trust 🤍

a healthy relationship with your body isn’t built through obsession and control. It’s built through consistency and nourishment.

If you want to learn how to truly nourish your body, regulate your cycle and build a relationship with food rooted in trust instead of control — this is exactly what we do inside Choosing Health.

we don’t count calories.
we eat without restrictions.
we move without judgment.
we create trust through self-respect and awareness.

everything changes once you understand this 👇🏽

some of us still associate working all the time with being successful and productive.

It’s quite easy for a woman who’s disconnected from herself to meet the high standards of expectations and fit into the box of the nice, agreeable and doing everything for everyone woman.

She might not notice it yet, but keeping up with a pace that goes against the needs and well-being of her body will eventually lead her to burn out — physically, emotionally, and mentally.

What few of us understand is that when a woman fully starts to embody herself, she begins to set an intentional foundation where exploration, abundance, and creativity unfold naturally.

Her state of presence becomes an ever-flowing source of time, energy, income, and internal growth.

slow doesn’t mean unproductive.
slow doesn’t mean unworthy.
slow doesn’t mean missing out

It simply means giving yourself the time to fully show up for what actually matters — instead of squeezing in one more workout, one more coffee date, or one more favour for someone else.

The first step to a slower life is letting go of the need to do all the things you don’t truly want or need to do:

- Going to the gym just to “tick the box”
- seeing people you don’t truly care about
- taking on work you aren’t interested in doing
- Saying yes out of obligation instead of honesty

a stressful schedule full of unintentional and meaningless things isn’t impressive to a grounded woman who moves from presence, self-respect and space.

it's okay to let it all go.
so that you have finally space and time to simply be.
