The Relentless Journey - May Edition

I’ve been noticing something beautiful at the studio lately.

People staying a little longer after class.
Coffee turning into conversations.
Strangers becoming familiar faces and hugging each other to say hello.
And that desire to come for movement and then stay for connection.

It made me want to create something that holds what we have been creating together even more intentionally.

So I’m starting something new.

Book & Convo Night.

Once a month, on a Saturday evening at 7pm, we’ll gather in the studio for a different experience.

I invite you to bring a book that has meant something to you or that you would love the world to know about — a book you’ve loved, underlined, returned to, or simply haven’t been able to forget.

We’ll sit together and share them.

Not in a formal or performative way — just in a simple space where we can speak about what stayed with us, why it did, and open ourselves up to the stories and experiences of others.

And then, after that, the evening opens up.

We’ll stay around.
Have drinks and light snacks.
Talk, listen, connect deeper.
Move between conversations.
Borrow each other’s books until we meet again the following month.

Over time, it will grow into something beautiful:
a shared library of stories, ideas, and people we get to know a little more deeply each time.

For this first edition of june, I also want to gently invite something new.

If you feel like it, come dressed in a way that feels intentional for you.

Not for anyone else — just for yourself.

A cute dress. A linen shirt. Some flowy throusers you feel precious in.

It’s a small way of seeing each other outside of movement clothes, and experiencing the space in a slightly different way.

we love a snatched waist but do you know what i love more?

being able to hold a plank without feeling like i'm dying after 20 seconds.

and i get it — core exercises are the type of movement we quickly do at the start or end of our training just to get it done. definitely not the most exciting body part to train.

either way, learning how to engage and work your core efficiently will probably do more for your health (and waist) than fasting or inconsistent dieting ever will.

because progress and transformation start with laying strong foundations and your core has to be is one of them.
