We loved stopping by @gypsykitchen_dc on 14th St for their live Flamenco guitarist night and delicious Pan-Mediterranean small plates! 💃🏽❤️ They have such a beautiful dining room, as well as a gorgeous rooftop patio perfect for date night, girls night out, and weekend brunch! They also offer happy hour Mon-Fri, 4-7 pm. ✨ Some of our favorite dishes included: 🐑 Hummus bil Lahme (hummus topped with tender lamb shoulder) 🌶️ Crispy Baby Octopus (with an amazing spicy sauce) 🫓 Labneh (paired with homemade crackers, pita, and topped with sweet currants) 🧀 Croquettas (creamy chorizo fritters that melt in your mouth) 💕 Kataifi Sweet Rolls (tahini mousse, figs, date syrup and homemade local ice cream) For cocktails, they offer so many vibrant options! @pappedc is serving up vibrant Indian dishes in one of the prettiest dining spaces in DC. ✨ We’ve been coming here for dinner for years, so I was excited to finally try their lunch! It’s surprisingly hard to find great restaurants actually open for weekday lunch on 14th Street, which makes this spot even better. At lunch (and brunch) they offer a customizable thali for $30. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on June 4 for our 4th Monthly Logan Circle Breakfast Meeting! ☕️✨ We were thrilled to gather with so many members of the Logan Circle business community for another engaging and productive morning of connection, collaboration, and conversation. @corkdc features amazing wines, & small dishes to please any palette! Hey good lookin’, it’s time for some Southern cooking’!! 😘 When it comes to Southern food, Chef Hamilton Jones @hambone_goonies is a master and @mallarddc is the spot to enjoy it! Come with me as I check out this cozy yet elegant Logan Circle establishment (located right under the 14th St. institution, Churchkey). My belly could not have been more happy or full after taking a culinary trip to the American South via refreshing Southern-inspired rye cocktails and spiked lemonades, and visually stunning plates that piqued my taste buds, like Shrimp and Grits, Cast Iron Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Seared Sea Scallops, Spiced Duck, and — to top it all off — absolutely delicious and playful Coffee & Cigarettes (malted chocolate mousse, macadamia praline, tobacco caramel, espresso ice cream, smoked olive oil) and Buttermilk Panna Cotta (poached rhubarb, basil, gooseberry coulis, almond shortbread). 😋 As America turns 250 years old this year, Mallard is the perfect place to libate 🥃 and celebrate 🎉 and enjoy some good old Southern fare! #hosted #southernfood #washingtondc
