We loved stopping by @gypsykitchen_dc on 14th St for their live Flamenco guitarist night and delicious Pan-Mediterranean small plates! 💃🏽❤️

They have such a beautiful dining room, as well as a gorgeous rooftop patio perfect for date night, girls night out, and weekend brunch! They also offer happy hour Mon-Fri, 4-7 pm. ✨

Some of our favorite dishes included:
🐑 Hummus bil Lahme (hummus topped with tender lamb shoulder)
🌶️ Crispy Baby Octopus (with an amazing spicy sauce)
🫓 Labneh (paired with homemade crackers, pita, and topped with sweet currants)
🧀 Croquettas (creamy chorizo fritters that melt in your mouth)
💕 Kataifi Sweet Rolls (tahini mousse, figs, date syrup and homemade local ice cream)

For cocktails, they offer so many vibrant options! I loved the pop of color in the “5O shades of Purple” cocktail 💜 and the floral details of the “Blooms in Valencia” cocktail🌺.

EVENT UPDATE :

While we are so excited for this coming weekend - jammed & packed with lots of punches.

Saturday for an official launch of @cravemaila featuring a drink by @janecoffeeandmatcha which the RSVP slots already fully booked to the max.

Sunday for the first public event a Texas style with a Taiwanese twist Baobeque by @lemoncatvideo in collaboration with a summer cocktails by @thi.ng26 so RUN!

We are equally exited for a new collaboration bin August. We open the month with a joint hosting Fundraising event with @logancirclems “Sake 101 + A5 Wagyu Dinner” featuring @the.wagyu.sommelier, @mikeys_first_steps and @sakedistrict. And on 14th with a “Fish & Wine Pairing + Dinner” featuring @keita_sashimi_dc and Japanese women winemakers @sixcloveswines @shibawichern @keikoetjerome. More details and tickets drop soon.

We keep @sakedistrict busy lately - beside a Fun-Tastic collaboration with @cold_fire_lab last week, Scott will collaborate with @tnishikawa1202 of @snowcraneicecream for a still mysterious concept soon to announce.

Of course, how could we not excited for a pop up by @zanatea.us and @bitbakery.va after getting to know each other few months ago and a private tasting recently. We are craving for that signature drink Grape Green Tea but heard there are more new drinks with some surprises.

And last but not least - a solo event with full concept by @jingspalate for an afternoon of delights. A rare treat you don’t want to miss.

Moving to... LOGAN CIRCLE?

Well, did you know...

1. Logan Circle is named after the Union General, John A. Logan, and that’s him riding the horse in the statue. 🐎

2. The horse statue was actually inaugurated 30 years prior to the neighborhood receiving its name! It was inaugurated by President McKinley! 🇺🇸

3. Gil Scott-Heron’s 1974 song “The Bottle” describes the lives of the people living in Logan Circle at the time! 🍾

4. Logan Circle actually comprises of 2 different historic districts. The Logan Circle Historic District as well as the Fourteenth Street Historic District! 1️⃣4️⃣

5. There are always tons of events and activities happening in the neighborhood, such as a business workshop on 7/27! Follow @logancirclems to stay up to date! 🥳

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to @lediplomatedc today for their Bastille Day festivities. 🇫🇷 🎇

They also gave my daddy a cup of delicious French glacé, which I helped him devour. 😋
