What. A. Weekend!!!!!

On Saturday, Kamryn and I had so many of our favorite people come to celebrate with us. As most everyone knows, we got engaged in July. What a lot of people don’t know is that we started looking for houses shortly after. House hunting brought a lot of disappointments, but our wonderful friend and realtor @lmwat made our dreams come true. In mid September Kam and I purchased our first home. With the help of our family and friends we have been able to make this house a home in just a few weeks and we could not be happier! Since we’ve been settled, we decided to invite all of our favorite people to come celebrate this new journey and our housewarming/ engagement party was nothing short of a success. My heart overflows with joy as I reflect on the weekend and how many people we were able to share this experience with. We had family, childhood friends, adulthood friends, and everyone in between in our new home to cheer us on as we continue this journey. It could not have been a more special day. To our parents, thank you just isn’t enough. We are truly blessed for your unwavering love and support not just now, but all the time. To our friends near and far, your presence and help make us feel so loved and for that we are eternally grateful. And for so many of you who weren’t pictured (because we were having too much fun) just know I will hold this day close to my heart forever. We can thank everyone enough.

As for now… Kam and I are excited to continue this part of our journey together and see where God leads us.

I got the ring, we got the house, now I think it’s time to plan a wedding!!!!!💒💍

What a wild ride!! The past 4 years have been nothing I expected, but everything I needed. Stepping away from gymnastics and transferring schools was the hardest and scariest thing I’ve ever done. I am so grateful for the opportunities I had while at Ball State, but even more thankful for my time at UNCG. My 2 years at UNCG taught me so much about myself and who I want to be as a post-grad. I am so excited for this next chapter to start! Go Spartans!!
