so excited to be announcing my master’s voice recital coming up next month! I am so lucky to be collaborating with some amazing artists and friends! 🩷 Hope to see you there! :) This program involves themes of madness, desperation, and loneliness. The core sets I am presenting include Ariel by Ned Rorem, with text by Sylvia Plath, and Mignon lieder (Goethe) set by Robert Schumann. It has been an immense challenge to tackle these themes, but I am so excited to present this amazing music! by @renamaduro
(a little late) love letter to fall semester! 💌🍁 featuring friends, fits and family 🤣 This fall was incredibly amazing, difficult, overwhelming and wonderful. I learned so much about myself, my craft, my goals, and my shift toward post-graduation life. I’m grateful for all of the special opportunities I was given this fall, including singing my first Messiah (YAY!), my first orchestral solo (Poulenc gloria), getting to sing Rusalka in the children’s outreach opera, singing in the Dante Alighieri voice competition, singing at Church of the Advent as my first church job, and most recently singing in the Boston met comp. I’m grateful every day that I am happy and healthy, surrounded by beautiful people and so much love, and can pursue a life of music in such a difficult world; it is such an immense privilege🩷 here’s to one more semester before I graduate😵‍💫😇 by @renamaduro
