This photo popped up as a memory. I had gotten out of a 10 day silent retreat in Bodhgaya, India. Was on this train for 22hrs straight heading to Delhi, I think. I noticed this kids curiosity and play for the world around him. I saw his mom lost in the world within herself. I wonder at what point the fascination for the outside world turns into the excavation of the world within. I find myself caught up there many times and then snap out to see all that’s happening right now. Good reminder. Thought: come out from being lost in what’s been, what’s β€œsupposed to be”, what will be, and see what’s right here… right now. Side note. I stopped caring for social media, the algorithm battle, what’s hot and sexy or distracting enough to be bumped. This space will continue being my public journal every once in a while I get the hit and choose to share. Much love fam. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”- #india #delhi #bodhgaya #meditationretreat #meditation #lost #lostintheworld #travelphotography #childlike #wakeup by @rephotography
BECOMING β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” I wonder if a butterfly knows it is becoming a butterfly before it is one. . In the process of change. Cathartic. Turbulent. Pushing out of old shells that once fit and no longer do. Does it fear what it's letting go of? Can it even imagine what it could become? . It made me think of us. About the indefinite amount of unknowing that lies ahead. The infinite amount of choices we could make now that alter tomorrow. To understand whatever chaos we experience was all for. And do we have what it takes to put all are chips into what we could become? . . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #butterflies #transformation #change #changeyourmindset #flowers #hatch #becoming by @rephotography
WHAT ARE DREAMS? β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” I would imagine you have all heard the phrase "what do you want to be when you grow up?" To dream about the life you want to live. . Have you ever tried to explain what it is to dream? To desire and imagine a life that you would want to experience? . While working in this bamboo hut village in Myanmar, we had this community write out what they might want. We would ask the youth what they would like to be. And in the process, we realized that that was not an idea that has ever been introduced to them. The idea of wanting. That their world was built within the limitations of their communities achievements. . We did this not to create desire, but to see what they need and how we could support them in creating the appropriate resources to make that a reality.Β  But man.... Am I grateful. That I am able to dream and even more so bring those dreams into existence. . And BEYOND grateful that there is something tangible and alive in these people that, together, we could bring that to life. . . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedloqve #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #myanmar #dreams #whataredreams #goals #community by @rephotography
100 DAY 100 POST CHALLENGE 100.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Day 100 out of my 100 day 100 photo challenge. I took on this challenge because I had (and still have) a bunch of photos I never posted from around the world. Also, after launching my business page, @liveloud.co , I had stepped away from social media a bit to work on my projects. And the algorithms don't like that so I saw a significant shift in my own people not seeing my work pop up on their feed. I could care less to play that game of fighting for attention. . But... A few people would write me though wondering about my work. That it would speak to them. After talking to one of my brothers @bklynautovoyer I decided to put myself on this challenge. (Thanks brother) Not much has changes with how this shows up but it was my intention to not limit who gets to see my work, or what impact it might have. My mission is to get people to pause and wonder about the things that make us beautifully human. For those who have been seeing my work, I appreciate the love. I won't post every day but I won't go hiding for so long again. Much love peeps. . . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #100postchallenge #postchallenge #travelart by @rephotography
TRANSITIONS 099.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” I am really fascinated by how people relate to life. What does it mean to be accustom to death? . Varanasi is intense. From people, cows, vendors, monkeys, sadhus (holy men), and of course cremations right in the path of where you walk. Hundreds of cremation are held here right of the Ganges River as their spirit is cleansed of their karma as they transition back into a better life. Goodbye is very different when you see death as a transition rather than a loss. . I remember watching this man who would support facilitate this experience. In the moments in between being in action, he would just stare out into space. I wonder where he goes. I wonder how he sees life when so accustom to being near death. . . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #varanasi #cremation #india by @rephotography
SHE STILL SMILES 098.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” To quote from my coffee table book. . "She slept often. I would see her daily, sleeping alongside a wall. I wondered about her. Wondered about her pain, her story, and wished for her to be alright. . I walked by her usual spot and saw she wasn't there. Looked around and saw her take the little change she had and bought a little ice cream. This time she sat smiling as she indulged in her treat. Far from a luxurious life, she found the pleasure in the smallest things, regardless of the circumstances she endured. Her smile always stuck with me. . So, when I endure, I remember. She still smiles." . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #guatemala #streetphotography #smiles by @rephotography
PROPS TO THE ARTIST 097.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Late night post but very much on theme with everything going on in my world right now. I want to give a shout to the artists that go on unknown. Those in your craft that are leaving it all on the canvas, the floor, the field, whatever. Shout out to you who dare to explain how vibrantly you see color. Shout out to you that knows everything in life has rhythm and music to it. We might not all know your name. But yes, you were here. Yes, you exist. And yes, you make this world a damn beautiful place. . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #artists #art #unknownartist #lifeisbeautiful by @rephotography
YOUR CALL 096.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” The world occurs to us in all different ways. What you do with that occurrence, how you relate, how you responded, and what you create is up to you. Yes, shit gets real... but that doesn't mean you don't have a say in it. Choose your path. . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #opportunity #windowtothesoul #choice #creation by @rephotography
THOSE WATCHING 095.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” This one goes out to those looking over us. Those who have taught us all they could in their time. Those we got to learn from, grow from, heal from, and all that. We are after all doing the best we can with what we know. Even when we don't "get it right". Much love. . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #spain #madrid #lookingoverus #love by @rephotography
NEVER GETS OLD 094.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Ever been captivated? By a person? Thing? Experience? There are very few things that exists that I feel like I could look at forever. The sun has set ever night since way before us and will continue to set well after we are gone. Yet it has it's magic to drop us into our silence, away from our minds, in a hearts, and just be here. . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #sunset #bariloche #argentina #views by @rephotography
ARMS REACHING FOR YOU 093.100 β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” In a world where many of us run at full speed, we sometimes run right passed eachother with arms reached open trying to connect... dodging one another, longing for one another. Funny how that happens. Take a pause and connect peeps. Love is here to celebrate every day. . . . . . . . . . . . β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” #lifelessons #wordstoliveby #inspirationeveryday #mindfulness #weneedlove #flashofdelightΒ  #allweneedislove #abundancemindset #globalgoals #socialimpact #changemakers #socialresponsibility #videoproduction #videographer #travelvideographer #seekingthelight #togetherwearestronger #together by @rephotography

First full day back in Guatemala but way different experience as I am here for a coworking/coliving experience shooting some content for a video production. Brilliant minds and hearts are gathering. It is going to be an epic month here.
