We say we're sacrificing for our kids. But are we really?
I've been questioning that whole narrative lately. Because I think sometimes when we say "I'm doing it for them" — we're actually doing it for ourselves and just telling ourselves they're the benefactors.
Rich said something that hit me hard: his kids don't care if the hotel is four-star, five-star, or no star.
They just want dad.
