What a way to begin our first LMFW Convivio. 🥹🍷

Friday’s Vineyard Dinner at Alumbra Cellars brought Chefs @gary_marmanillo , @chavezmaylin , and @rico_chef503 together for an oyster bar reception and a five-course menu paired with wines from @coriaestates , @alumbra.oregon , @valcancellars , @gonzaleswinecompany , @nueva_aventura_wine , @medina.wines , and @scenicvalleyfarms .

Thank you to the winemakers who joined us and shared the stories behind their wines, and to the chefs who created such beautiful dishes and shared the stories behind them. And to everyone who gathered around the table with us: thank you for making our first evening so special! 🫂

Convivio kicks off on Friday, September 25, with an intimate five-course dinner among the vines at Alumbra Cellars.

The evening will feature a collaborative menu from Chef Ricardo Antunez of Pura Vida Cocina + Xicha Brewing, Chef Maylin Chávez of Nácar Oysters and Chef Gary Marmanillo of Casa Zoraya, thoughtfully paired with Latino wines.

Meet Ricardo Antunez

Restaurant kid at heart, owner of @xichabrewing and @puravidacocina , and co-founder of Latino Makes Food & Wine.

Growing up in Northern California surrounded by farmland, some of Ricardo’s earliest memories are of harvesting tomatillos alongside his uncles. Today, living in Oregon, he sees many of those same landscapes reflected in the Willamette Valley.

For Ricardo, Convivio is about celebrating the people behind the harvest—the Latino winemakers, chefs, vineyard stewards, and hospitality leaders who help cultivate, showcase, and celebrate the incredible bounty of the Willamette Valley.
