Hand shaping a body for one of these trucks is a long grueling process. For months on end I come home, covered in Bondo dust, blisters and cuts on my hands, smelling like toxic chemicals and I tell my wife... a couple more Bondo days babe.

It feels like the abyss, time passes so fast and months just get away. Your concept of time nearly disappears, I get there in the morning and line out the guys, answer a few calls or emails, and just start spreading and sanding.

And there's really no finish line. You put it on, look at it and take it off. I don't know how many times I've told Chico or pride, run to Napa and get me two more gallons I'm almost there. And that two gallons goes away and we do it again.

I've got over 30 gallons of Bondo in these plugs. I've done the entire body twice. Two sets of plugs, two sets of molds, and three hoods. It's work that has made several great people quit working for me because it really is endless suffering...

Until it's not, and when you lay down that primer it feels like the storm has passed. Last night I took my beautiful wife to dinner in Las Vegas, and seeing her take these pictures and the pride she has getting out of the truck makes it all worth it.

When you pull up to valet in one of these bad boys, the energy is different. I'm not saying it's fair, the world isn't fair, but the bell men RUN up to the truck. They look you dead in your eyes and call you boss or big dawg.

They don't know I'm the guy that built it, but man when you pull up they make you feel like you're somebody. In the big picture none of this material shit matters, if you've got your health, and someone you love with you, you've got it all.

But it makes a guy feel a deep sense of reward when people see something you suffered so long for and built with YOUR OWN TWO HANDS and it communicates its value clearly.

Thank you @josh_c_combe and @afp_designs_ for the month of your life you traded building this body work with me. I know it felt like the most meaningless work you'd ever done. I hope when you see these trucks in the world it makes you feel the same way I do. I love you both my brothers.

I QUIT DRINKING ALCOHOL....

And I didn't drink much at all by society's standards.

Let me explain. A couple months back I went to the doctor to get my blood work done and just get the peace of mind that I'm healthy. Ive got a beautiful family and thought man I need to make sure I'm around for them.

The doctor told me, your blood work is perfect with the exception of your CHOLESTEROL, it's 312. And this is a solid 120 points above where you want to be. It obviously scared me to death. Heart disease, heart attacks all of it way more likely with cholesterol in the three hundreds.

So I started doing research and made up my mind I wouldn't be taking any drugs or statins to lower it. I told myself I'll clean up my diet, drink more water, and exercise more.

But man, I already eat really good. Steak, potatoes, chicken, broccoli, the occasional in and out and some good simple tacos on the regular but there wasn't a bunch of diet to clean up...

I ate super clean for 2 months and it went down to like 271, and I'm like man. This isn't good what can I do and truthfully I didn't come up with a solution. I kept on my diet and kept eating clean but no huge changes.

And as much as I'd like to take credit for the decision to cut ALCOHOL all together in relation to my cholesterol that wasn't the case. I'm not a big drinker, I'd have 2-3 max on a Saturday night date night.

You know go to the cabin for a weekend have 2 drinks on Saturday night by the fire. Or Alex and I would hit a Mexican joint and have a margarita or two. Real talk I drink less than everyone I know other than the people that don't drink at all.

But I noticed how bad those two drinks fucked me up. If I had 3, Sunday I feel like shit. Hung over all day, Monday I'd be riddled with anxiety, and Tuesday down right sad. And about two months ago I said this just doesn't serve me anymore.

And then two days ago I went to get my bloodwork done leading up to a surgery and my cholesterol was 200... and I was elated, but I didn't know why. My diet was identical, I haven't been working out and my cholesterol dropped 112 points... happy, but confused

And than it hit me, I QUIT DRINKING completely. by @robbywoods

The Internet has a powerful way of shaping our view of the world, and especially when it's where we spend the bulk of our time.

Over the years I've made some big attempts at success and loudly beat my drum. I've told my story, proclaimed my successes before they were reality and a lot of times came up short on the things I said I'd do.

With that has come a whole bunch of judgment, condemnation, and hate... and you read enough of that stuff long enough and pretty soon you'll convince yourself that's how the real world is.

I've got in the habit of saying things like "I don't want to go my truck isn't done" or I'm not leaving this shop until this trophy truck runs. And meanwhile the world is passing me by.

But the dichotomy is when I step out in the real world I'm met with an overwhelming amount of love and support. I had the opportunity to join @mattmartelli and @joshtheautobuyer this weekend at the Offroad expo and it was like a family reunion.

I ran into a lot of old faces and met a whole bunch of new ones and the love and support I receive is almost impossible to take in. I feel like I've gotten so caught up in what people say behind the comfort of a screen that I'm caught off guard by people's kindness.

This is your reminder to get off the internet and out into the real world, and if you are always your authentic true self your people will always find you. Maybe you have some bad people around you that aren't supporting you get rid of them.

I had strangers grown ass successful men approach me and tell me how much I've inspired them to pursue their dreams, and build their trucks, and to most importantly be THEMSELVES. It takes good strong men to build up other men.

Yesterday I was surrounded by my brothers and I want you all to know how special you make my life, and how much I appreciate all of you.

I caught myself choked up on several occasions. 1. Lance with the white f150 showing love. 2. My opening statement to Matt about 20 years of brotherhood. 3. A room full of people with there cameras out to hear my story. 4. My son screaming CAR at the champ race watching a race from the cheap seats (use to kill me) 5. Watching my wife with our boy. by @robbywoods

Authenticity is the highest form of energy in the world. It's an unspoken energy that people can feel from across the room.

It doesn't matter what field you're in, you know who the fuck the real ones are. The people with that thing. These people are always the ones people love or hate. No in between.

In a world full of people following trends, keeping up with the Jones's, trying to maintain a public image the most iconic thing you can be is your self. And I've always been true to this.

You do me wrong, I'm calling you out. You show some shade, I'm cutting you off, you show me that you're not with me, I believe you. The world has normalized shitty character and most the time the crowd is throwing rocks at the realest ones.

But here's the other side of the coin. The real ones they see each other, they live by a code of honor and respect and they stick together. They don't compete with each others egos, they don't have to. They all know they are the man.

My whole life people have either admired me or hated me, and at 40 years old I'm at peace with it. Most people don't even like themselves, let alone someone who's really trying to be someone and do something other than work 9-5 and talk shit on their "friends"

I don't need to be in your prerunner crew. I don't need to be on your podcast, I don't need to be invited to your events. I don't need your acceptance or approval. I've built all this without it.

I want to thank all the bad motherfuckers that dm me, and encourage me, and support me. I see yall and I appreciate it. We are the fortunate few. The outlaws, the mavericks, the black sheep.

The world wasn't built by reasonable men, the people talking shit on us haven't built anything. Keep going bro, I see you. RW by @robbywoods

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN CAD? Everyday someone writes me and asks me, how do I get started in cad.

That's a loaded question because the drawing part is easy once you've learned how to navigate the software and how it's intended to be used.

Over the last 15 years I've used solidworks everyday to turn my dreams into reality. Through those years I've developed a process of how to design a world class race car, and soon I'll be teaching it to a limited group of people.

This class will be limited to 10 people. The criteria is pretty simple, you'll come with a desired build vehicle in mind. You'll fill out the questionnaire before arriving and it will have all the specs you look to achieve. Wheelbase width etc. This class is NOT LIMITED to off road. Vehicle dynamics are vehicle dynamics.

You'll learn the critical targets, and how I approach the design process step by step. Over the course of four days you'll learn the exact process I've used to build multiple championship winning trucks.

The class will be 50% vehicle design process and 50% CAD, you'll leave with the tools to build good cars.

If you build things for a living there is no greater tool than CAD design. I've bought back tens of years of my life and created things I only dreamed of with these tools. If you'd like to see how effective this process is, check out @slim_tiddy @dertco and @3n1motorsports all three of these remarkable fabricators started their car journey here.

The first class takes place in late November @springmountainmotorsports luxury lakeside lodging is included in the purchase. There is an incredible clubhouse restaurant on property. Flights to Las Vegas airport.

If you're ready to take your career to the next level comment " RW Race Car academy" and we'll send you a dm with a link. by @robbywoods

HIGH END FABRICATION: I have the best team I've ever had right now and I'm the bottle neck. I need to replace myself in the shop and focus on running the business and product development.

I currently design everything we build that you see on this page. I also work 30-40 hours a week in the shop and the team is always waiting on something from me.

One truck needs headers, the other might need an aluminum fuel tank. One is waiting on intricate brake lines.

Our team needs a ROCKSTAR fabricator. Building headers (in our fixtures with perfect prints and procedures) is a must. Proficient on a lathe, I don't even want to say Tig welder, we need a guy that can weld a dick on a snow man.

High end finish work, carbon fitment, installing nut zerts, air craft rivets, fitting sheetmetal. Just an all around car BUILDER.

It pays well, there are 6 of us now and everyone makes good money, there isn't a B player in the building.

The environment is top notch. No one on the team drinks comes in hungover, no one talks shit "new guys gay" type of talk is foreign. This is an environment of winners.

When things are going good, everyone is kind of in their own world. The CNC guys do their thing, Dylan is up to his ears welding, Ian the shop manager, lead mechanic assembly guy currently out runs the fab department. Steven keeps the cad files being cut and bent.

And I run around like a chicken with my head cut off all day.

I'm very forward thinking. I have no interest in being average. I'm on a war path to become truly successful both financially and spiritually. I want to be wealthy, I want the people around me to be wealthy, and I won't settle for anything else.

2027 we are going trophy truck racing, I'll hit a few rounds in my pro 4, and we're working on relocating our business. I'm not looking to scale fast or get super big overnight, we had 10 guys at one point with 4-5 of them doing all the heavy lifting.

It we could fill one more critical role, well be in the perfect spot. THANK YOU

P40_warhawk aluminum panels used for carbon mold.

There's a few stages to going big in life. The first chapter is when you don't have shit and everyone cheers for you. When you're broke and all you got is a dream all the other losers cheer for you.

And then you get somewhere in between winning and losing where you're making some head way and some people are cheering and some people are chirping, you can feel the circle start to shrink.

And then you show some visible signs of success and promise and then everyone you thought were with you start to show you where they really stand. This is where jealousy, resentment, and projection of their insecurities start to shine.

Then the lonely chapter. People you want to be around don't see your value yet, or they're intimidated by your ability's, so the ladder isn't out to help you climb. You put forth an effort to build these relationships, but rarely do the people you look up to want to see you at their level.

Don't believe me, look at most of the talent in my sport or profession... few of them live like the people brokering their time. None of the prep guys or fab guys are really living good. So what do they do when someone like me comes along and breaks the norm.

They throw rocks at the shiny thing that reminds them what they could do. If they had self belief, if they put it all on the line, if someone bet on them....

So for everyone who thought their opinion meant shit today from the comfort of their desk job... here's 20 pics of straight fire that I built. No sponsors, no one telling me what I can do, no checkbook telling what I can say, and no concern for your opinion.

I BUILT THIS, a lot of you can't even cook.

If you're not with us, you're against us. by @robbywoods

One of the biggest comebacks in offroad history is quietly building momentum. What makes this time period special is it's never been harder to compete.

The technology, the cost of these trucks, the speeds. It's nearly impossible to participate at this level without being born into generational wealth....

Unless...Unless you're absolutely committed to your work beyond reason. Unless you're unrelenting in your craft. Unless you're a generational talent that only comes along every 50 years or so...

This is the game I'm playing. I want to make sure that anyone after me trying to fill my shoes is discouraged by the body of work I put forth in my life time. I want all the people talking shit, betting I don't complete this chapter and succeed to know deep down they don't have a shot.

I want all the teams that I offered to help and declined, and all the rich kids I asked to take me for a ride in their truck, and that one guy that let everyone take a spin around the block in his except for me... i remember how it made me feel, and I want all of them to have a lump in their throat when we unload this truck.

I want to win so bad that I've dedicated the last ten years of my life to this craft. 10 years ago I was one of the fastest people on the track every weekend. And I DIDNT KNOW SHIT. How do you think I'll do next time around?

I keep score.

I'm coming, and I'm bringing hell with me.
