We were busy at Off Road Expo...

Over the weekend, we brought Off-Road Racer Live to Costa Mesa and sat down with some of the people who make up the off road community. From racers and builders to prerunner guys, fabricators, and personalities, we had a lot of ground to cover.

Big thanks to Josh the Auto Buyer for putting the whole thing together and creating a space where all of these different sides of off road could come together. We were joined throughout the weekend by co hosts Jim Beaver, Desert Dime, and Bob Bower, who helped bring these conversations to life.

The conversations covered racing, prerunners, fabrication, family, the history of the sport, where off-road is headed, and what it takes to keep people interested and involved in the culture.

That’s what made this worth doing. Off road is bigger than any one class, builder, race, or group of people. Getting everyone in the same place, sharing stories and talking about where the sport came from and where it’s going is important.

After a 4 year hiatus that consisted of moving to Oregon, working at a world class golf resort, breaking my leg in a crazy accident requiring surgery, creating a successful social media account in the Supercross space and finding my way back to Southern California.. it’s time to re launch the podcast. @joeytryonshow is available on all podcast platforms.. new episodes will be dropping soon and will have video as well.
