Dolly’s Film Club x Out There Fringe Fest presents Jane Schoenbrun’s queer satirical surrealist psychological romance and horror.

After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection.

Some of the not shite* times from the last 4ish months!

Feat. Great humans with great music, food, drinks and cute sticky offspring with squishy cheeks, birds in bin stores, communing with my swan friends, art nonsense , radio waffle , @dollysfilmclub shenanigans, solo trip to Tintagel (including waking up to horses), rollerskates, dumb brothers, film festivals, night walks and sunrises… thanks to everyone that contributed to the joy 💜

*remember kids, the internet is a lie, there was a lot of 💩, but it’s nice tip your hat to the good shit. Maybe if it’s treated right it’ll come round more by @robynndolly

After taking 2025 off, Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to the Exeter Phoenix auditorium for a full audience-participation spectacular from Dolly’s Film Club 🖤

August, you’ve been a ride!

Ft. Beautiful Days, Big Screen in the City, End of the Road, sea swims, great tunes, great friends, tiny humans of great friends, new adventures and beginnings, silly crafts, artistic endeavours and more!

(I’m pretty tired, there’s also been a lot of ups and downs, as well as the beauty and joy has been tears, frustration, tax bills, wet socks, washing up, emails and all the rest of the tapestry… but it’s good to take a moment to enjoy beautiful moments and friends… overall it’s been a banger and worth it) by @robynndolly

I had the immense pleasure of programming the music video selection for this year’s Leeds International Film Festival, and this weekend I was able to pop up* to Leeds, introduce my selection, meet the fantastic jury, go to the awards and spend a weekend meeting incredible programmers, filmmakers, film lovers and more as well as seeing some incredible films!

This gig felt like a coming together of so many facets of my professional and personal interests and geography, having worked in live music and cinema in so many different hats, and spending my spare time hopping from cinema to gig! I have always been interested in that intersection of where art forms meet and music videos are a perfect example of that. Collaboration, conversation and bangin’ tunes.

The submissions were incredible, and whittling it down to just over an hour was a challenge, but I was really pleased with the diversity or genre (both musical and film), geography and tone.

I got to end my intro championing live music and grassroots venue, the music video selection was appropriately screened in @headrowhouse, and it was great being in a live music venue, and great to have the opportunity to say GO TO A GIG, BUY A PINT! Music venues are an important part of the UKs music eco system and need your love (follow @musicvenuetrust for more info…)

Ok, enough waxing lyrical, cultural soapbox going away… I had a great time, y’all should go watch some music videos.

Another lush @endoftheroad festival!

My favourite way to end the summer.

Cried with joy at @cmatbaby’s epic performance, absolutely sobbed at @robauton’s Big Top musical performance, got to be a PROUD midlander at @bigspecial_ smashing it in the Folly was caught by surprise by @mermaidchunky and got to wonder round the magical 🌳 forest… and the rest!

A fantastic day with great music, impeccable company and a very garlicky spicy marg!

Finally righting the historic wrong and seeing Death Cab for Cutie live with my best friend of 18 years, the Postal Service and one of my favourite albums, Gossip inciting some well needed rug cutting and Gustaf being a delightful and welcome surprise (looking forward to catching them again at EOTR)

Long live live music, friendship and adventures!

And what a pleasure to always enjoy returning home to Exeter and my girl Dolly 🐈‍⬛ taken in All Points East by @robynndolly
