“I feel like I’ve been able to be on fire at work.” 🔥

Maeve had dealt with pain for years,

but it gradually reached the point where she couldn’t even sleep through the night.

Simple tasks felt hard, like just feeding her dog.

Nevermind lifting in the gym.

And even when she pushed through, the pain was always there in the back of her mind.

After several months of working together, that changed.

Maeve finally got a clear answer WHY she still had hip after trying chiropractic, physical therapy, and medical treatment.

We helped her get stronger, return to her normal routines, and stop having pain constantly taking up her energy and attention.

And that affected a lot more than how her body felt.

She had that energy back for her career and felt like she could be “on fire” at work again.

That’s the outcome that matters.

Getting rid of the constant distraction of pain, so someone has more of themselves to give to the life they actually care about.

Have you ever walked into a doctor’s office and felt like you were bothering them?

From your first step through our door we want you to FEEL seen and important.

Our patients told us they LOVED the discovery visit because they could meet 1:1 with the doctor before committing to becoming a patient

Together you will:
1. talk about your goals

2. Go through a whole-body movement assessment to find out EXACTLY why you’re in pain and how to make it go away for good.

3. Discuss your options and next steps- whether that’s somewhere else or in our office.

Our patients tell us this was the MOST important step in their journey with us.

“If I can’t understand the why…how could we create a plan on how to fix it?”

If you want to come in for a discovery visit…

Visit the link in our bio and fill out the form to apply to see if you’re a good fit for what we do. taken in Cincinnati, OH by @rrpcincy

Tired of doing everything “right” and being in pain??

You’ve stretched.
You’ve rested.
You’ve followed the plan.

…But the pain keeps coming back.

Here’s the thing:

Our patients tell us traditional PT focuses on treating the symptoms.

But the site of pain is just the warning sign…

Your back pain might actually be coming from your hips.

Your knee pain might stem from your foot.

Your shoulder pain could be from your neck.

At Rebuilt Rehab & Performance,

we go beyond symptoms to find the REAL root cause.

Ready to understand why nothing else has worked?

DM us “ROOT”

and let’s finally get to the bottom of it

so you can get back to what you love! taken in Cincinnati, OH by @rrpcincy

Back Pain, leg and foot numbness don’t just affect walking.

They can slowly change where someone can go, what they do,

and make every night out downtown requires careful planning.

Many older adults are still active, but walking has become the thing making there world smaller.

And despite stenosis on her MRI, more strengthening wasn’t the answer.

We had to do a comprehensive movement assessment to figure out why this was happening to someone so for and strong.

That way she could get back to “just getting up and going.”

For anyone whose walking, and life, are getting smaller,

"now everyone helps me lift because of my back pain.”

One of my patients shared his frustration with me.

She used to be stronger than the guys at work.

Now she feels like she's lost all her gym progress

Worse, lifting is her way to relieve stress, clear her head, and spend time with her gym friends.

Here's how I might rebuild someone's squat:

1️⃣ Wall sits: Start with a supported position, even if they can only tolerate a little depth.

2️⃣ Heel-elevated squats: Help them stay more upright and work toward deeper squats, especially if their ankles are stiff.

3️⃣ Front-loaded squats: Start adding weight in a way that's often easier on the low back.

4️⃣ Barbell back squats: Gradually reintroduce them, maybe just one light set at first, then build from there.

But what if you've already tried lighter weights, scaling back, and slowly building up... and your back STILL hurts?

That's when we need to dig deeper.

There may be a movement problem in the low back itself that needs to be addressed.

Or stiff hips or ankles that are making the back work harder during squats.

If those limitations are never found and addressed,

simply starting lighter and adding weight may keep leading to the same frustrating setbacks.

That's why we assess how the whole body moves at Rebuilt.

Knee pain after running the Queen Bee? Here's recovery tips:

1. Actually take some time off.

The best recovery is doing nothing. Beats cold plunges, sauna, normatech boots, foam rolling, etc.

1-3 weeks is probably reasonable depending on how long/hard someone's been running.

2. Sleep more - that's when your body fixes itself

3. Fuel your body (eat enough, most real food)
- can't repair the body without the raw materials for bone, tendon, muscle, etc

When you start training for the Flying Pig:

1. Give yourself more time to ramp up mileage -less injuries

2. Strength train 2x per week (proven to lower injury risk)

Single leg exercises are king- running is a single leg activity, and it trains glutes (key for runners knee)

Don't forget calves (I know you want to skip them like I do. Don't)

3. Find a coach/training group - more fun, accountability, and progress

4. If you got injured again... get a professional help to stop it from happening again

If you've already tried traditional physical therapy or chiropractic care,

that's who we help.

Hip rehab should fit INTO the gym routine, not replace it.

Maeve didn’t need another giant list of exercises.

She needed a plan that fit around work, family, friends, and the gym.

We built daily movements into her routine, integrated rehab into her workouts,

and gave her a clear way to progress as her body improved.

“I’m able to easily integrate it into my life, and it’s made a huge difference.”

That’s the goal. A plan that’s effective, sustainable, and actually builds back toward the activities that matter.

Two years ago, I couldn't imagine running for 30 minutes and doing hill sprints.

My hip hurt too much and was way too stiff

The other day, I just finished doing exactly that. 🏃

I hear similar stories from patients all the time.

Running is how they clear their head, relieve stress, and spend time with friends.

And when they can't run, it gets depressing.

They miss their routine, their running group, and that feeling of being themselves.

Especially when they've already tried the usual treatments and still aren't getting lasting results.

I know how easy it is to start believing that getting back to running might never happen.

But I want people to picture what they're working toward.

Running those miles again. Keeping up with their friends. Feeling strong and confident in their body.

And believing, "I can get better. I just need to figure out what's going on and find the right guidance."

That mindset helped me keep working toward my own recovery.

Of course, hope alone won't fix an injury.

Having a clear goal, the right plan, and someone to guide you can make a huge difference.

“My hip’s tight. I need to stretch.”

That’s what Maeve thought after dealing with hip pain for years.

That’s what all of us have been told are whole lives, “just stretch more.”

She saw a chiropractor too. And adjustments could make things feel better for a couple days.

But then the relief wore off.

What changed for Maeve was actually narrowing down what her hip needed, then building a personalized plan around it.

For her, that meant learning to stabilize and control the hip,

then gradually strengthening it and building back toward the gym.

Months later? “I don’t have pain anymore. I sleep beautifully.”

And instead of pain constantly taking energy away from everything else,

Maeve has more left for work, family, friends, and as she put it… “building my life.”

At 75, he was doing yoga, kickboxing, HIIT and lifting,

yet walking just ¼ mile brought on back, leg and foot pain and numbness.

Three rounds of PT gave him the “same old, same old” strengthening exercises with “minimal to zero help.”

He was already strong. The question was: what had been missed?

Sometimes the solution is finding the movement problem no one has looked at yet.

Ignored the pain for years til I cried and could barely walk. Then had to get a hip replacement.

Yeah...don't do that.

Glad to be back in the gym @beatfitnessofficial though! Gonna be a little more proactive this time... taken in Cincinnati, OH by @rrpcincy
