Life Remodeled 2026! This week, our team was proud to volunteer with Life Remodeled’s 6-Day Project in Detroit, helping revitalize neighborhoods around the Durfee Innovation Society. This year, the project expanded into more surrounding neighborhoods than in previous years, allowing our team to help create safer, welcoming spaces for even more residents.

Jobsite visit in Louisiana! 🦺

Chad Fox and Eric Hughes recently visited the META Data Center project in Louisiana, where our team helped by analyzing three construction roadway crossings with different span types, numbers, and lengths. The work included a 180-foot-long single-span truss bridge, three 82-foot truss bridge spans totaling approximately 250 feet and supported by intermediate piers, and converting an existing truss bridge to a buried culvert.

For the truss bridges, our team provided analysis during the lifts and supported the lift planning. For the culvert conversion, we analyzed the culvert for construction loading as the existing truss bridge was converted to a culvert bridge.
It’s always great to see the work our team has helped bring to life in the field!

Last night, a few members of our team attended the 22nd Annual Building Connections networking event at the Bonstelle Playhouse, hosted by the Construction Association of Michigan. The event brings together professionals from across southeast Michigan’s construction community to connect, build relationships, and support Scouting programs for local youth.
Annually, the event raises more than $200,000, and over the past 20 years, it has raised more than $3.4 million to support Scouting programs throughout Southeast Michigan. We were proud to sponsor this year’s event and be part of an evening that brings our industry together for a great cause.

Last Thursday, we took a few hours for our Annual Tailgate! Shredderz kept us well fed, the ice cream truck brought the sweet treats, and our giant beer pong made its return. It was a nice afternoon to step away from the office, enjoy some good food, play a few games, and hang out with the team.

A couple of great days on the golf course! ⛳️
Last week, a few members of our team joined the Automotive Women’s Alliance Golf Outing at Fox Hills Golf Course and sponsored the Judson Center’s Bernie Golf Challenge at Indianwood Golf Course.
It was great to spend time with our industry friends at @aristeoconstruction and @grangerconstruc while supporting two organizations that are making a difference in our community.

Last week, our Marketing & BD team spent two great days together in LA for our Annual Marketing & Business Development Retreat! It was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.
One of the highlights was touring The (W)rapper building with Atila Zekioglu and hearing his unique connection to the building, from working on the original project to now supporting its renovations. It was a great experience to see this one-of-a-kind structure up close and hear the story behind it. 🌆

This week’s Ruby Tuesday was a special one as we celebrated our summer interns, Henry Stamps and Katelyn Collins!
Henry, who is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis at Purdue University, and Katelyn, who recently completed her undergraduate studies in Architectural Engineering at Lawrence Technological University and will return this fall for LTU’s Accelerated Master’s program, shared highlights from their internship experience and reflected on what they learned throughout the summer with us.
We also enjoyed an ice cream social to celebrate Henry and Katelyn. 🍦
Thank you, Henry and Katelyn, for all of your hard work this summer. We wish you both the best as you head back to school! 🎓
