How I landed my first PAID fitness collab with under 500 followers.

Stop waiting for 10k, 5k, or even 1k. If you have a vision and you know how to execute, the right brands will notice. I just wrapped my first official campaign as a fitness & running creator, and here is exactly how I made it happen while being a “small” account:

1️⃣ Personality is your superpower. In a world of static photos, brands are looking for presence. They want to see your facial expressions, your energy, and how naturally you talk to the camera. My advice? Post more videos where you are just you. Being “camera-ready” is about confidence, not perfection.

2️⃣ Have your ‘Digital Business Card’ ready. I don’t wait for brands to scroll through my feed. I have a curated selection of high-quality portfolio shots ready to send the second a conversation starts. First impressions are everything, make yours look professional.

3️⃣ Network in the right rooms. I don’t just hang out in fitness circles. I’m active in female entrepreneur groups. By connecting with business owners on a strategic level, you move from “just a girl who runs” to a “creative partner who understands their business goals.”

4️⃣ Find your niche. Working with @merazen.eu was a perfect match because they value comfort, style, and modesty. I didn’t try to fit the “standard” fitness mold; I stayed true to my own aesthetic.

The takeaway? Don’t focus on the number of followers, focus on the number of lives you can inspire and the quality of the work you produce.

I’m on the road to 1k! Follow along for more behind-the-scenes of building a life (and career) by design. ⬇️

———

These are the first 4 races I’ve planned this season. 🏃‍♀️

From 10K… to the half… and building towards the marathon.

Besides these, I’ll probably join a few local races too — just because they’re fun. And every now and then I like to run a 5K to test my speed (and humble myself a little 😅).

I used to say: “one day I’ll run a marathon.”
It just stayed on a list.

This year I simply signed up.
No perfect timing. Just starting.

Now I’m curious:
What race is on your bucket list?
Which one should I definitely add to mine? by @run_romy

I didn’t start running to be fast.
I started because my body felt tired, weak and out of balance.

I truly believed sports weren’t for me. No background, no coordination, no confidence.

Running slowly gave me something back.
Trust in my health.
Trust in what my body needs.
Trust in what it’s capable of.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I can do more than I ever thought.

This space is about honest running, the wins, the fails, good food, cute running fits and discovering new places on the run.

What did running give you back?

Sometimes you just need the right inspiration.

Now that I’m running 4 times a week, I’m fully leaning into colorful and unique pieces that still have that premium feel. No boring, basic running gear, but items that actually make you excited to step out the door. Here are the screenshots from my current wishlist!

Drop the word ‘LINK’ in the comments and I’ll slide the links straight into your DMs!

Code rood? Tja…

Drop die life hacks!

More kilometers simply mean more impact on your body. And as that volume grows, the maintenance becomes so much more important. Yesterday was all about a core stability session at the gym, followed by some stretching at home on the floor.

If you are looking to step up your running game too, this is why making time for core and stretching will genuinely change your performance:

Stability when you get tired: When you’re pushing through the final kilometers of a long run, a strong core keeps your posture upright. It stops you from sinking into your hips, which protects your knees and lower back from taking the wrong impact.

Less wasted energy: A stable upper body means less side-to-side rocking while you run. All your energy and power are directed straight forward, making you a much more efficient runner.

A smoother stride: Stretching keeps your muscles flexible. Having loose hips and hamstrings allows for a longer, more natural stride without forcing your body to put in extra effort.

Better recovery: Taking a few minutes to stretch after a workout improves blood flow. It releases the tension in your tight muscles, meaning you won’t wake up feeling completely stiff the next day.

It might not be the most exciting part of the training routine, but it’s exactly what keeps the kilometers feeling smooth.

Let the games begin 🔥💪🏼

At what point does a hobby officially become an obsession?

Asking for a friend, because apparently, running has become my whole personality. But honestly, when you are putting in the work, executing a flawless running outfit transition, and stacking up those hard-earned medals, you might as well wear them with pride.

This fitness comedy reel highlights the reality of the modern runner’s discipline. Balancing a busy life with a strict 3-run weekly split requires a bit of obsession. We are putting in the kilometers, perfecting the race day prep, and doing whatever it takes to conquer that sub-22 minute 5k pace goal.

Hit save if you’re unashamedly obsessed with the sport. Drop a 🩷 below if running is your personality too!

The countdown to race day is officially on.

With my first 6 kilometer race just two weeks away, the focus is fully on sharpening the engine. This race is the perfect stepping stone toward my ultimate goal this season: dropping my 5 kilometer personal record from 23:13 to a sub-22 minute finish.

Balancing training with a busy lifestyle means I only run 3 times a week. No junk kilometers allowed, every single workout has a specific purpose.

Curious how i structure my training week? Here is the exact 3-run blueprint i’m using:

The interval & pyramid session: Pure speed work to expand lung capacity and train my legs for that faster turnover. A typical session is a pyramid structure like 400m - 800m - 1200m - 800m - 400m at sub-22 target pace.

The strength & forest run (today’s 9k): Headed out to the woods today for a 9 kilometer run. Keeping the pace easy, but using the forest hills as undercover strength training. It forces the glutes to fire and builds explosive power without exhausting the body.

The easy run: A relaxed, fully controlled recovery run (around 5 to 6 kilometers) at a comfortable pace to build aerobic endurance and let the muscles recover from the speed work.

The lifestyle details for today’s execution:

The fit: Showing up for your goals is always better in a good outfit. Obsessed with this all-pink running look. 🩷

The fuel: Tried the new Vitamin Well Peach drink post-run to replenish, and it’s a 10/10. So refreshing. 🍑

Two weeks to fine-tune the details. Let’s see what we can do.

Save this post if you’re also trying to get faster this season. What race do you have coming up next? Let’s talk below.
