Could spend all night telling you all about the good and bad of 2025…
Instead I’m putting my priorities down on “paper” to remind myself of what I NEED most…
1. Time with my family 👨🏻‍🦲🧒🏼👩🏼
2. Seeing the Members of the Board
3. Supporting the amazing adults of RBHS so we can do right by the kids
4. Building community with @run_csrd as a new captain. Pouring into the people who have given me so much in Seattle
5. Building something new with @meeerunner in South Seattle @southendrunningexchange
6. Being outside with family and friends whenever possible 🌲🐚⛰️🏝️

Live footage of the day in the life of a community maker, mom, small business owner. Some people wear a lot of hats. I guess I wear a lot of hoodies 🤣

TWO EDUCATORS + ONE IDEA AT A COFFEE SHOP… and somehow it turned into a mobile running store. 😂

And now it’s time for the SOUTH END RUNNING EXCHANGE GRAND OPENING! 🎉

📍 Seward Park
📅 Sunday, September 27
⏰ 9:00 AM

Come celebrate with us the best way we know how: RUN + SHOP + COMMUNITY. We will be collaborating with @run_csrd last trail series run!

👟 Brooks will be joining us!
🎟️ Raffles + giveaways
🍪 @treat_cookies
☕️ A NEW local coffee vendor @scoreseattlecoffee
✨ Sample gels from @paolabsjelly with their matcha & yuzu gels
🛍️ Shop South End Running Exchange
🏃🏽‍♀️ And of course, a community run!

What started as two educators sitting in a coffee shop talking about an idea has turned into something we’re so excited to share with South Seattle.

We wanted to create something that brings running, access, community, and connection together and this is just the beginning.

Come run with us. Come shop with us. Come celebrate with us.

SEE YOU SEPTEMBER 27! 🎉

Our @run_csrd July Intro to Trail Series Run was made extra special by all our friends at Propel, Upward PT, Brooks Running, and Pagliacci’s! It was so fun to explore some urban trails and gravel paths at the beautiful Arboretum.

We have one more Intro to Trail Series run coming up before our big series finale race at Cougar Mountain! We hope you’ll join us at Seward Park on Sunday, September 27th at 9am for Brooks demos, more trail fun, and some more fun surprises!!! Keep an eye on the CSRD Heylo for all the details!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the South End Running Exchange soft opening! We’re so grateful for everyone who came out, said hello, checked out the truck, grabbed some goodies, and helped us celebrate this next chapter.

A special thank you to Chuck’s Hop Shop @chuckshopshopseward for hosting us and creating such an amazing space for the South Seattle running community to come together.

And of course, HAPPY 1 YEAR to the Chuck’s Hop Shop Run Club! What a milestone and what a crew! @barrel_maker

I like to mark time each school year with a request to the universe to take care of all of those who are returning to school for a new year. This year we had a 5th and 8th grader head out the door after learning there would actually be school at 11:15pm last night.
The internet says it can do whatever it wants with photos of our children and the government says that’s ok. As our kids step into themselves we find ourselves sharing less and less because more and more it is their story to tell. They will always have the millions of moments I have captured in photos but they will get to decide how they show up in this wild online world.
Thank you for the schools that foster growth and may the universe watch out for your babies and mine… regardless of age they will always be my babies. ❤️ taken in Mount Fuji （富士山） by @runditorun
