My 2026 goals that never made it out of my notes app… until now 😅

In 2025, I achieved a pretty big running goal - running my first ever ultra marathon and, after that, I really just wanted to “run for fun” for a while 🏃🏻‍♀️

I had set myself a goal of running in every country I visited while backpacking Asia over the winter ✈️🌏🎒

Then, when I came back to England, part way through the year, I scribbled down these goals in my notes app and never really shared it with anyone… sure I was working towards 100 parkruns but I didn’t want the pressure taking away from the fun!

Anyway fast forward to now - 3/5 achieved 🌟

Less than 3 months to go til the end of the year…

Can I tick off the last 2?!? 👀

I’m hoping with the help of @maxmile.app I can stay consistent with my strength and interval training and well I guess, watch this space !! 🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏼😬⚡️

Places I’ve ran so far while backpacking Asia… 🏃🏽‍♀️🌏✨

🇰🇭 Cambodia
🇻🇳 Vietnam
🇯🇵 Japan

And I’ve also….

Hiked and walked A LOT 🥵
Biked a bit 🚲
Lugged 15kg+ around with me, sometimes walking for an hour in 30C heat 🎒
Sweated a LOT 🥴
Kayaked a few times (low key LOVE it?!)
Started to practise yoga more 🧘🏻‍♀️
Swam a little bit 🏊🏻‍♀️

& I have just over a month of travel left before I return to the UK. Let’s see how many more countries I can run and explore in 🫶🏼

Excited to set some running goals for the new year once I’m back in the UK 🇬🇧

PART ONE: What it’s really like to run an Ultra marathon 🏃🏻‍♀️ (on helium)

Please excuse the terrible videography. This has taken far too much time and far too many failed attempts. I’ve no idea why Instagram has decided to make me sound like I was on helium. The draft did not sound like this, but after deleting and re-uploading 3x, I give up. So here’s me running an Ultra marathon on helium.

A Sunday well spent at @showupnorth 🤩✨

There was so much going on and what an amazing place to be, surrounded by so many incredible women in business in the wellness space 👏🏼

I took my sister along and we had the opportunity to try some breath work, yin yoga and a sound bath, which we both loved! Note to self though… to clear my diary in advance next year so I can enjoy more of the weekend !! 😅🤞🏻

Feeling very zen 🥰🧘🏻‍♀️🌙

When I’m not running, THIS is what you’ll find me doing ✨✨✨

And a reminder to anyone that needs it, to make sure you make enough time for yourself to RELAX. Yoga, breath work and sound baths are all amazing things that help keep me in balance ☯️

Wow this audio caught me right in the feels when I heard it 🥺🥺😭😭😭🥹🥹 in honour of World Mental Health Day, I thought I would share 🫶🏻

Mental health is something I always want to shout about on this page because it’s a big part of my ‘why’. It makes me sad to think, so I won’t dwell on it for too long but I know it’s important to share… there’s been too many times in my life where I didn’t think I’d be here anymore but… I MADE IT 😭😭 okay now I’m crying but I have genuinely built a life that, at one point, I could never have imagined living. I’ve achieved things I thought I would NEVER and it’s only where you hear things like this that it hits.

Parkrun no. 103 🏃🏻‍♀️

No cos why do I actually feel so guilty about sprint finishing someone?!? 😭 we kept overtaking each other on the up/ down hills near the end and the fire in me came out 🫪 I wanted to approach her at the end and say well done and that I didn’t mean to keep overtaking her but I chickened out. So if you see this, pls know, I’m not a bitch really lol (ignore the music choice). A lovely morning, but a bit chilly!!! 🥶 OVER N OUT

We really have such an amazing fitness community in Newcastle. Big love to both @tribalcyclejesmond and @hotpodyoganewcastle, both of which I’ve been a member of in the past. And tonight definitely made me miss it 🥹🫶🏻
