Early Sunday hoops with my little man Kai watching me. Our new favorite routine before church and these are the moments that make it all worth it. 🏀 ❤️

A lot of times if we are working on basic catch and shoots I always like to add a challenge to it. For this time we were going 7 spots around the three point line. You have to get +5 to win the spot but if you get to -3 than you loose at that spot. I’m counting back of the rim and in and swishes as +1. If you hit side or front of them rim and it goes in you stay even and then -1 for misses. @m.layton_5 was in a hole in the corner but she is a shooter and got her self out with 7 makes in a row to win the spot 💪

Going to reenact some of my favorite iconic moments in NBA history starting with Jordan over Russell at the top of my list!

Where does this shot rank for you?

What is your favorite iconic play?

How does that saying go?

Show me your five friends and I’ll show you the trajectory of where you’re going.

Your circle dictates your standards. Choose your huddle wisely.

Don’t get it twisted! Yes I want us to make shots and I want us to pursue growth in efficiency. BUT we are being way to hard on ourselves when it comes to our misses. Just like learning about life through mistakes and lessons learned. The same principle applies to shooting. Let’s actually embrace our misses and learn from them to get better at shooting.

Shooting like music or dancing has a Rhythm or flow to it. Maybe the issue with your shot is your off-beat? 🤔 🤷

Entering month 11 has me in all the feels. Being Kai’s dad has been the absolute best. Could I have 1 million more of the last 11 months please??

One of the things I miss most since my injury is this! Just moving and being in the trenches with my clients 😢

Despite my season I’m in now I will always choose the path of wearing out and giving my all instead of sitting there and rusting away
