Happy to be on a trail again. 🥾

It’s been a while since we’ve done any “proper” hiking, but our day in Cloudbridge Nature Reserve (Chirripo) brought us right back to it.

Once we got past the first mile, we had the trail completely to ourselves. Just the sound of the river, the forest, and our feet on the path. The water was freezing, crystal clear, and so full of life.

Cerro Chirripó means “land of eternal waters” and it truly feels that way there.💧

Life in Costa Rica speaks to my soul. Here, the land, one another, and all living beings are met with quiet reverence. When people speak to me, their eyes carry a sparkle, as if they are truly seeing. They listen. There’s a tangible thread of connectedness, simplicity, and contentment woven through daily life. Not everyone lives this way, of course, but more seem to here than anywhere else I’ve been. For now, my heart says stay ❤️ taken in Costa Rica by @sailing.gypsymoon

Boat kids helping Francesco, one of our favorite Italians, make pizza and carbonara. Francesco is an amazing human and his restaurant is a true gem. Panama Canal crossing! We joined our friends Petra & Bertie on their beautiful boat #largyalo to go through the Panama Canal. The last 24 hours have been pure excitement, fascinations, team work, and good times.
