It’s Official :

This is my official announcement that I’m ramping up to make a serious return back to professional Track and Cross Country. The Chief aim is glorifying God, the metric is an Olympic Qualifier.

For those that don’t know, I was a Professional Athlete with @hoka after College. I boasted times close enough to consider a run as an Olympian a serious pursuit.

That’s old news though. I was unsaved and I spoiled the opportunity. The hunger and desire never went away though. And now I’m saved. So….

My goal is simple : return back to that shape and accomplish the goal.

This time we are doing it with much more clarity, focus, discipline, and most importantly,

I HAVE JESUS.

That’s all I wanted to share. For the last 2 months we’ve been locked in, and will continue to be locked in. The only difference is now it’s out in the open.

“The soul (appetite) of the lazy person craves and gets nothing [for lethargy overcomes ambition], But the soul (appetite) of the diligent [who works willingly] is rich and abundantly supplied. [Prov 10:4]”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Having the desire is one thing. And most people have some measure of desire, even if it’s small and infrequent. We all have goals and desires in life.

But the person who has desire + diligence in their work will abundantly be supplied is rich , as the scripture says.

And what is rich?

The soul. Why?

It goes back to Gods core message in Genesis :
Be fruitful and Multiply.
Have Dominion.

These things cannot be done in laziness.
The scripture presupposes Godly activity.

God created us to actively pursue the desires of our heart with diligence, assuming our heart is shifted toward him and his will.

You want to be rich?

Multiply your desire with Diligence. by @saint.trelani

Safari Nugget | Day 13

God will exalt you.

Sometimes we try to dish out revenge or get a get back due to our prideful nature, and we forget that God is the one who stands before us and is our witness.

Allow God to exalt you even when the world tries to persecute you. by @saint.trelani

We are MISSING it when it comes to our witness and preaching of Christ.

A lot of times I hear Christians glorify the fact people don’t want nothing to do with them because of how they talk and how they live.

This is NOT the answer.

There is a difference between suffering for righteousness sake and being flat out REPULSIVE in how you portray Jesus.

In the Gospels we see Christ drew EVERYONE to himself, regardless of whether or not they agreed. People could not ignore the person and preaching of Christ.

Jesus says we are the SALT of the earth, and a LIGHT set on a hill. We need to LIVE THAT.

I want my witness to be one that DRAWS people. I want what Christ is doing and what he teaches to DRAW people, regardless of agreement.

You should desire the same. by @saint.trelani

Baltimore Evangelism Recap :

I’m not for big captions unless it’s real deep edifying breakdowns, but one thing is for sure :

God was glorified this past weekend.

A time was spent in fellowship.

A time was spent Worshipping our Lord.

A time was spent Evangelizing.

Personally I had an encounter with 1 man that shifted a lot in my walk with Christ, and interestingly enough this encounter was directly connected to scripture the lord had already put on my heart before the trip.

Gods Church is active and outside, and I was definitely encouraged by the travel.

Extremely grateful to everyone that sowed into this trip and helped to make it happen. I love you all deeply.

Until next time. by @saint.trelani

Day Job Vibes

For those that don’t know, I recently got a job working at the Wild Animal Park as a photographer.

The Wild animal park is one of the biggest parks in the entire Nation. They generate close to 50-80 million dollars a year in sponsorship funding from their partners and the contributors. Majority of the park is actually built to be a conservation for endangered animals, it’s a beautiful thing to witness.

Truly been a blessing being able to serve in such a small but impactful capacity. by @saint.trelani

Two days ago while I was out evangelizing, somebody nearly physically assaulted me because of the word of the Gospel.

I was reminded of what Peter says :

“But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It is a good thing to suffer persecution for doing good.

Do not be afraid of the threats of men, as the lord God will protect you and preserve you. by @saint.trelani
