Pewnego letniego dnia, poprzedniego roku, rozmawiałem z Kubą, że chciałby zrobić refresh swojego auta.
Porozmawialiśmy chwilę o tym, że chciałby odświeżyć lakier, żeby auto nie „straszyło” i tak od słowa do słowa padło „przywieź mi auto, pomożesz mi i w 2-3tyg. się uwiniemy”.
Do czasu kiedy auto miało do mnie przyjechać wpadało kilka dodatkowych pomysłów i mieliśmy krótką check listę.

Koniec końców w aucie nastąpiła kompleksowa odbudowa, z zewnątrz i wewnątrz, zakres prac obejmował tyle, że będę wrzucał wszystko w oddzielnych postach.

Po 6ciu miesiącach walki z autem, które nie zawsze chciało współpracować, walki ze zdrowiem, które usilnie chciało pokrzyżować plany, oraz kilku fuckup’ach mogę zaprezentować wam nową odsłonę auta Kuby.

One summer day last year, I was talking with Jacob about how he wanted to refresh his car.
We talked for a while about how he wanted to renew the paint so the car wouldn’t “scare people” and from word to word, it came to “bring me the car, you’ll help me, and we’ll get it done in 2-3 weeks.”
Before the car was supposed to arrive, a few additional ideas came up, and we had a short checklist.

In the end, the car underwent a comprehensive rebuild, both outside and inside. The scope of work was so extensive that I will post everything separately.

After six months of battling with the car, which didn’t always want to cooperate, fighting health issues that stubbornly tried to ruin the plans, and a few fuck-ups, I can present to you the new version of Jacob’s car.

O tym jak pasują i jakiej jakości są bodykity OriginLabo krążą historie na całym świecie, tutaj mamy doskonały przykład jak to wygląda. Progi przedłużone o kilka centymetrów, tylne panele docięte, błotnik od strony kierowcy też musiał zostać pocięty. Koniec końców udało się jako tako wszystko przedłużyć i popasować aby miało ręce i nogi.

Stories about the fitment and quality of OriginLabo body kits circulate all over the world, and here we have a perfect example of what that looks like. The side skirts had to be extended by a few centimeters, the rear panels were trimmed down, and the driver’s side fender had to be cut up as well. Nadkola w S15 zostały umyte, rdza została usunięta, a całość została zabezpieczona masą STP i emalią poliuretanową z lini @novolpl for classic cars.

The wheel arches in the S15 were washed, the rust was removed, and the whole thing was protected with STP sealant and a polyurethane enamel from the @novolpl for classic cars line.
