Ibiza mornings.

#sunrise #ibiza #escavallet #ibizasunrise by @saschakaus.de

I recently started writing a monthly newsletter. Some of you might already have seen it in your inbox.
The newsletters allow me to share a diverse array of inspirations and musings that come into my life. I have noticed that I enjoy writing about topics that make it into my consciousness or things that I value, which I would like to share with you. Putting them into a monthly newsletter reduces the impulsiveness of the usual social media posts and gives me the time to reflect and reorder. It might even bring to light topics that have been influencing my life for a long time. By selecting a few things to write about each month, I can consciously select from more present experiences and share long-lasting influences that stay with me. It’s like putting together my own little monthly magazine. Should you be interested, follow the link in my bio or head over to my website, saschakaus.com/newsletter
There you can sign up for my newsletter and find all past editions.

What a spectacle. A full moon rises and the sun sets over the sea just a few minutes apart, both viewed from the same spot. Nature never ceases to impress.

I turned 50. 🎂

It’s been a few days ago. But I guess now, I can take a bit more time for myself. 😆

Thank you, Life, for 50 cycles around the sun.
There is much more to say about my life than would fit into a single post. What stays present is the notion that I am still a child, a beginner in this life, in awe of all that I don’t know, and grateful for everything that I am still able to learn. It wasn’t always like this. I often felt like I had it all figured out and nothing would stop me. But NO. It just doesn’t work that way. In all those years, there were many moments when I had to stop, listen and adjust. Learn new ways of thinking, doing and being. What I often saw as challenges, I can now see more and more as gifts. Less and less I see as given for granted and more and more is another chance to learn, grow and expand. To be more at ease with what I am grateful for every morning, I wake up and see the sun and for every friend who is around, the time and the meals we can share.

✨ So far, I have learned:
Don’t bring suffering into this world.
I am much more than what I think.

🤓 What I am still learning:
To speak my desires and love more freely.
To be more playful.
To ask for help.

🙏🏼 My whish for the next decade:
Build a place where I can host and welcome others to come together to grow and become more at peace with themselves.
To be happy, wild and free.

Thank you, life! 💛

Thank you, @immek, for the best be-day mornings throughout the past 4 years. You are the confetti bomb in my life 🎉 and your birthday cakes are the best 😋
Thank you to all of you who sent their wishes and thoughts.
I am happy to have you in my life. 🥳

The summer in Ibiza hasn't ended yet, but I am very much looking forward to December because I will return to one of my favorite retreat places. The @kornspeicher_mauritz in Rügen.

Together with @immek we will spend a weekend in the north and give you an opportunity to escape the pre-Xmas craze in the cities, shopping for gifts and crowded Christmas markets. Take some time off and reflect on what the year has brought you; enjoy the yoga practice and nourishing food; take a walk in nature and warm up in the sauna; and create unique and individual gifts in two creative workshops.

To me, the Kornspeicher in Rügen is the perfect retreat location for the cold season. The whole house has floor heating, so you can be barefoot or in socks all day. Sit in meditation while listening to the chimney in the morning. Relax on one of the many big sofas with a nice cup of tea, or hop in the sauna after a long walk.

If you would like to know more, head over to @we.come.home.retreats or send me a message. I would love to see you in the north. 🙏🏼 by @saschakaus.de

Aeropress Championship Baleares. It was a fun experience to take part in the @aeropress.spain Championship here in Ibiza at my favourite coffee and bakery @pantastic.ibiza I have been using @aeropress for many years now and to finally come together with so many fans and aficionados is pure fun. I didn’t win a price but the experience was priceless anyway. Thanks everyone who came, competed and cheered. Thanks @pantastic.ibiza, @mekecoffeeibiza, @aeropress.spain for a great event. I’ll be back next time with more beans, brews and besos. #aeropress #pantastic #mekecoffeeroasters #coffeelovers by @saschakaus.de

Shooting mode - Detox style.
Yesterday we converted the kitchen into a studio and shot some videos for our spring detox program with @we.come.home.retreats
If you are curious, you can also see me behind the counter sharing some of my detox secrets and tips. It's fun and challenging to be on both sides, though, behind the camera and in front. And I can't quite decide which side I like more.
