🚨 MEET THE TEAM 🚨 Meet Milo (aka @scrapb.ook)! One of our co-creators for the People’s Press. Milo is a freelance journalist photographer who has brought their camera to local events for the past two years as a way to offer more of their skills to the community. Their love for the community continues to grow more everyday. They have experienced and documented vigils, encampments, graduations, benefit concerts, local/national protests, and more. They are driven to help create a space to share the love, beauty, and strength that surrounds us. by @scrapb.ook

🗣️ CALLING ALL ARTISTS 🗣️ We are creating a community art gallery on our website, and we would love for YOU to be a part of it! If you would like to be featured in it, please DM here or email us your work at peoplespresscleveland@gmail.com To be credited, please add the name you want us to use in your email. You can also include: • Title • Date created • Materials used • What does it mean to you? “When it comes to my most recent work, I felt like this time is too urgent to not reflect upon it, I feel like when I studied in art school I tried to come up with these complex methodical interpretations in which the viewer would have to navigate a puzzle to understand, but now I want my artwork to hit you over the head with its intention as soon as you see it. I want to make work for the people” Local artist: Thomas Smith (@wax.and.tracks) Any and all mediums are welcome and encouraged, and please spread the word! by @scrapb.ook

Introducing The People’s Press‼️ We are proud to introduce The People’s Press, an independent, community-rooted media platform created by the people, for the people. Born out of a collective desire for storytelling that reflects the voices, struggles, joy, and resistance of our communities, The People’s Press is more than a news outlet — it’s a living archive, a creative space, and a tool for liberation. As a multimedia news publication, we center the narratives too often left out of mainstream media. Through journalism, visual storytelling, art, and audio, we aim to uplift the stories that matter most to our neighborhoods, our movements, and our cultures. In just two weeks, on July 14th, we will be launching our official website! This is only the beginning. We’ll be reaching out to our community to work alongside you, to listen to your stories, to celebrate your art and passions, and to build a platform that grows with and for the people it represents. Stay tuned, spread the word, and get ready to be part of something powerful. taken in Cleveland, Ohio by @scrapb.ook

We are still here ... From our humble tent, my sister Ghina tells you that hope and love are still with us. ❤️‍🩹 Thank you to everyone who is still asking about us after we were banned from the internet. We are facing great difficulty in obtaining the necessities of life and the blockade is increasing day by day. 💔 by @scrapb.ook
