FORM ARCOSANTI! 🌞🎉🛸🏜️⛈️🌈⛺️🫶🏼💖❤️‍🔥

How do I even begin to put into words how magical and special my experiences were @experienceform @arcosanti_arizona ?!

I’ll bring it back to 2012 when I designed a poster for @hundredwaters show at Glasslands, the beloved music & art space I used to work at. I was honored and upon listening to their music, absolutely captivated. I’d never heard anything like it. The show was something truly special. They brought a crew called The Church of Holy Colors to deck out our space with tons of little pieces of fabric and it was nothing short of spectacular. The vibes were high!! It stood out among the many epic shows in that space.

Flash forward to 2016, my friend sent me a link to FORM Arcosanti fest and said, “this looks like something you’d be into.” Boy was she on the nose! Back then you needed to apply to be accepted to attend FORM because Arcosanti is a sacred place that can’t fit too many humans. I reached out to @zach.tet of Hundred Waters who I worked on the poster with, founder of this fest and told him I’d love to come! That year I went to my first FORM and have attended every one since ✨

This year was my 6th time at Arcosanti for another incredible lineup of phenomenal musicians spanning genres from all over the world. We ascended with @kamasiwashington and @nourishedbytime_ 💖 We danced into the night and literally in the rain with @avalon9000 @disclosure @ben___ufo. I sang along with @lorde and coveted her laser beam jacket as she belted out Royals! I relaxed and took in the stunning Arizona canyon views as @tychomusic and @willits bathed us in dreamy atmospheric sounds in the @envelopsound setup, which this year was in a groovy new spot below the cafe, an area I’ve loved hanging in year after year.

We drove in to Arcosanti and set up camp on red earth that Friday. “WOW, a V Dubb with an Aphex Twin sticker?! Are you the coolest girls at this festival?!” Our would become new bestie @has__ben observed as he greeted us from his camp nextdoor. @haydenhearsawho offered us homemade gumbo multiple times, which I’m honored to have tried Sat while holding it down at camp before the rain came. I went to Kingston and all I got is this pic of @destroyer_band 💜
and some sick @woodsist merch!! Destroyer’s lyrics had me chuckling during every song. Such a legend. Absolutely loved @woods_family_band & @catelebon’s sets as well ✨ taken in Assembly Kingston by @seafffoam

Cabin so cute Wednesday wiggled underneath when we were about to leave. So we stayed an extra day. She wandered away and I knew she’d return but boy was I concerned. While searching for her, I came upon a mama pig and 3 piglets and a white peacock. A majestic lil apple orchard indeed. See last slide for how that ordeal turned out. Looking into kitty harnesses for these little wanderers 🐾

I supported the Executive Creative Director, @bigbignews at experiential agency @newmoon with graphic design for Match Day Live at Brookfield Place in NYC. Patrons could watch live World Cup matches in The Winter Garden, ‘Work From Bar’ with a Stella Artois, kick back with cocktails at The Garden Bar, enjoy free programming, play soccer themed arcade games with the whole family, sign up for pickup soccer matches and youth clinics. Ahead of the program launch and throughout, we worked closely and quickly on a wide array of designs and formats including key art, custom arcade wrap formatting, match schedules, social content, digital signs, promo materials for the activations, cocktail menus and onsite signage.

I’m incredibly proud of this work and it was awesome to create alongside the World Cup. This project required a close attention to every detail, strong composition, balancing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines. @beaconqualityeats commissioned me to create some fun and eye-catching graphics for their cafe and sidewalk boards on Beacon’s Main Street. Inspired by the cafe’s NYC bodega photos, I whipped up bright designs in their classic primary color palette. Shapes and styles came from typical deli labels, diner fonts and price stickers. I designed A-frame signs for display out front, labels for refrigerated goods, and posters for various specials. More in the works to highlight BQE’s tasty brunch offerings! 😋🥪🥔🍪🍻
