I feel it is important to acknowledge and create space to talk about them. So that no one has to go through it alone. Sometimes we don't need to say anything but to hold their hand, give a hug, simply be in their presence, make a meal for them, listen to their stories, and have an open heart.

Together, we can create a safe, compassionate, empathetic, loving and beautiful place to live. ✨

I’ve lived many identities in this lifetime.

Rarely do people see all of it.

When my worlds meet, it can feel chaotic… sometimes funny.

But through therapy and reflection, I’ve realized:

My life isn’t meant to be one dimensional.

It’s a mosaic.

Different communities.
Different expressions.
Different mirrors of who I am becoming.

And somehow… they all belong.

Always growing through each form and experience.

Learning and reshaping.

Healing.

Reviving parts of me.

Introducing: The Deep Weave 🧶🪡

We gathered because something in us is hungry for real connection. Not performance. Not small talk. The kind of closeness where you can show up exactly as you are, and be met. From all colors and creeds, we saw how each thread is connected to the next, and the synchronicities continue well beyond the ending of the retreat.

Thank you to everyone who helped co-create this immersive experience. Thank you to the elders who were present (the beautiful loving mamacitas). Thank you to the local reservation tribe member who came bearing gifts for others, representing what is means to show up in the deepest truth and authenticity.

After an overwhelming response, I know what the Arizona community is seeking as this was a completely sold out experience with a waitlist building and plans for the next gathering already highly anticipated. What a gift to be a steward of souls in this way!

✨🍇🍍🍉🍓The Alter of Abundance🫜🫛🧀🥦✨

What a DELIGHT to be back in my craft of providing nourishment for a meaningful gathering of community. Still landing back down to ground level from ☁️ 9 high receiving so much energy from the beautiful group I got to serve last night. 🌬️ God/Creator/Source never ceases to show me in unimaginable ways how I am not alone on the path and that we are SO interconnected. 🐚🌀

I have been in a reclusive state for some time now so for some I have been MIA and probably worried. Thanks for those who have messaged me and checked on me through dreams and text messages. The ground underneath me crumbled so many times it feels like I have been falling through the "trust fall" for infinity ♾️ lol

The good news is although I am in the void, the liminal space, AGAIN, maybe I never left 😆 what an incredible 🐛 chrysalis to butterfly 🦋 the metamorphosis as we know, dissolving of what was... and now what is...

I AM. Ecstatic about what/who may be revealed and remembered 🙏🏻

Lynette, the visionary behind The DEEP WEAVE🪢just the couple of days I have been in her presence, I could feel her grounded power, magic, the rich quality in her craft, so much depth from walking the path. Hey Arizona friends, after some summer travel (currently in fresh cotton sheets here in Venice beach) I am coming back inspired and ready to co-create some deeper community connections over in the desert. This has certainly been a desire of mine for a while now but life got busy with lots of family alchemy. My beloved @skrdlasound and I are excited to start expanding and growing with friends that become chosen family again.

My background in immersive experience design has been in Los Angeles and more international over the years and now I am being called to offer my gifts in the land I call home and steward, the desert that I have been in reciprocity with for an entire lifetime 🏜️🌵

For this experience we are partnering with @michael_locasto and @thezenhouseaz which is fully loaded with incredible amenities in the north Scottsdale neighborhood. Marne Williams @loveandlightrising will be our cacao priestess, and @senyastarlight is will be our chef for the day creating nourishing bites and refreshing beverages. *this is a sober event*

This day is intended to be an exhale. A time to recharge, a space to relax your shoulders and take up space. There will be breathwork, there will be conscious connection, hot/cold plunge, nourishing bites, pool side hangs, a collective art experience and then… we dance! 💃🏻

We really look forward to weaving with you! May this be the first of many experiences. Come stretch yourself, be seen, be related to in a new way and rebirth your idea of what friends and family mean with us.

Angelique started her career as a showgirl in David Cassidy’s acclaimed Vegas production “EFX”. She later moved to New York and discovered samba, capoeira, and a newfound passion for Brazilian culture. After returning home, she founded SambAZ and Capoeira Brasil Arizona. Since then, she’s been a Musa in Rio and placed 3rd in Australia’s World Samba Competition. Her weekly classes and annual events have brought dance and community to Arizona for almost 20 years.

And Samba de Cavalo will be there drumming! If you haven’t danced to live drums, there’s nothing like!

This past Saturday, I had the privilege of serving as the English-speaking MC for the 76th Anniversary Commemoration of the Korean War and the 73rd Anniversary of the U.S.–ROK Alliance Day at Arizona's Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo.

As President of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council Arizona Chapter, I have learned that leadership is not about having all the answers. I choose to lean into the things I may not know and continuously seek a deeper understanding of our history, culture, and the world around us. It is through that curiosity that we gain perspective and wisdom.

It was an honor to serve alongside Korean-speaking MC Mr. Seongil Ma, Chair of the Board of the Arizona Korean Association, and to witness our community gathered through the leadership of Andy Lim, President of the Arizona Korean Association. His message, "We Go Together," beautifully captured the spirit of the day.

The Korean War is often called the "Forgotten War," yet more than 3 million people lost their lives, families were divided, and an entire nation was devastated.

Today, South Korea stands as one of the world's leading economies and democracies. From one of the poorest countries in the world after the war to a global leader today, Korea's story is a testament to resilience, sacrifice, and perseverance.

Understanding our history helps us understand who we are, what we value, and what is worth protecting.

How do we know what is worth fighting for if we do not understand what others have already sacrificed to preserve?

In a world that moves quickly, remembering is an act of gratitude.

🇹🇼 My First 24 Hours in Taipei

After a long flight and a 6-hour layover in Seattle, I finally made it to Taipei a few hours later than expected due to a maintenance delay. Thankfully, I had Marty Supreme to keep me entertained while waiting for our plane to depart.

I took the train to Taipei Main Station directly from the airport, which was super easy then I ended up at my hostel past midnight. When I asked the front desk person about a place to eat I was recommended a 24-hr noodle shop around the corner! I got a comforting and delicious bowl of glass noodles with meatballs and stir-fried sweet potato leaves for only $3.50 USD. 😱🙌🏻

The next morning, I woke up early and made my way to Longshan Temple, arriving just in time for the morning chants alongside the local aunties and uncles. The dragons, phoenixes, and intricate details throughout the temple were absolutely stunning. It felt like such a sacred way to begin my journey in Taiwan.

One place I really wanted to make sure I go to was the Taipei Botanical Garden! I saw SO MANY different tropical plants that we would buy at the store back home in the U.S. 😂 I had a lot of fun taking close-up photos to try to capture their beauty.

After climbing what felt like a million steps at the National Memorial, I escaped the humidity for a bit at Starbucks before continuing my adventure. One thing I quickly noticed? Taipei's coffee culture is thriving.

The food was nonstop. Fresh-cut mango, pineapple, guava, handmade black sesame mochi, peanut mochi, organic markets, salads, and honey lattes seemed to appear around every corner.

Later, I stumbled into a small museum with an organic buffet and a story so wild it deserves its own video.

To end the day, I visited Moon Moon Food on my friend Michael's recommendation and tried their world-renowned spicy sesame noodles. Simple, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.

Taipei, you had me hooked in the first 24 hours. ✨

Pop-up Brazilian Zouk at Moonlight Dance Studio truly felt like a little miracle ✨

Huge thank you to Victoria for envisioning the space filled with Brazilian Zouk and helping bring it to life.

A special thank you to Elijah who's been teaching Zouk in the valley for over ten years!!

And thank YOU to everyone who came out on a Sunday afternoon to learn, grow, connect, or simply dance with us. Whether it was your first class or you were refining your skills, your presence made the room feel so alive.

The energy, openness, laughter, connection, and movement we shared today reminded us why we love this dance so much 💛
