Some weddings just stick with you. Not because everything went perfectly (although this one came pretty close ā€œ78 degreesā€), but because of the people. Sergio & Allie brought so much energy, humor, and heart to every part of the day that made their joy impossible not to feed off of. @vegavineyardandfarm was the perfect backdrop, but these two were always going to be the main event. I tried to narrow this gallery down... I failed. Every swipe felt like another moment worth keeping, so hereā€™s the first round. Trust meā€”thereā€™s more where this came from. Sergio & Allie, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. What a day. šŸ¤ Vega farm and vineyards wedding by @sergiovisa

Mission accomplished. šŸ«” What a ride itā€™s been these past five years. Youā€™ve been my rock through it all, figured it was about time I got you a rock of your own. Counting down the days until I get to marry you! by @sergiovisa

Hey yā€™all, long time no see! The last couple of years have been some of the bestā€”and busiestā€”yet. Iā€™m always grateful to be busy doing what I love, but I wanted to share a big life update. While Iā€™m still building and having a blast with @salomondrin and @rodnavarro on a weekly basis, late last year my best buddy (and insanely talented chef) @seb.ferndz told me he had an opportunity to open a restaurant with his wife and my close friend, @kelliefernn. I was beyond stoked for them, and we instantly started dreaming about what the place could be. About a month later, Seb invited me to join the project. After a few quick convos with @alliefernn, I knew I couldnā€™t say no. A few dinners later with Seb and Kellie, @hearth_mp was bornā€”a warm specialty coffee shop in the morning and the vibiest discoteca-turned Latin wood-fired restaurant by night. We got the keys and started turning our dream into reality. The buildout was six of the craziest months of our livesā€”from raising the funds needed to remodel the space, to pulling permits, passing inspections, developing our brand with @nosh.graphics, and everything in between. Then came the best part: building the team that would become our family at Hearth. While Seb has created one of the best front-to-back menus Iā€™ve ever tasted, we wouldnā€™t have made it through this first month of being open without our incredible team. Weā€™ve already welcomed thousands through our doors and received hundreds of five-star reviews thanks to them. We still canā€™t believe itā€™s all real. The food world has slowly drifted away from unique experiences and true hospitalityā€”but weā€™re out here to prove it can still be done, and done sustainably. Huge thanks to @discovermoorpark and the @moorparkchamberofficial, our incredible group of investors, @chefrichardsandoval for answering all my questions, the rest of the crew at The Alley, all the friends and family who supported us along the way, and all the locals whoā€™ve had our back since day one. Itā€™s meant the world to us, and weā€™re so proud to be part of the Moorpark community. Canā€™t wait to share more soonā€”sorry for the long post, just really excited for whatā€™s ahead with hearth. taken in Moorpark, California by @sergiovisa

Iā€™m a little late to share these but I canā€™t emphasize enough how proud I am of this team and what weā€™ve been able to build over the last few years!
