THE INFAMOUS DOWN STAY🐕🔥✅

I pull this bad boy out pretty often. Just this morning, we were rushed by a lab. Granted, he likely had no malicious intent, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. So I put my pack in a down and helped the owner get ahold of his dog.

A few other use cases for this command would be:

1. Trail Breaks or Hikes– Quickly calm your dog on the trail if people, bikes, or other dogs pass by.

2. Park Hangouts – Let your dog lounge safely allowing you to interact with others without the worry of tracking what your dog is up to.

3. Outdoor Dining – Keep your dog relaxed at pet-friendly cafés or restaurants.

4. Busy Sidewalks – Rein in their excitement when encountering crowds or street performers.

5. Indoor Calm Sessions – Provide a designated “chill” spot when the doorbell rings or during family movie nights.

If you need help introducing this to your dog. Send us a DM and we will get you squared away 💯. by @sharods.way

Recently, someone asked us in a DM where we learned the knowledge we share as consultants—and why it wasn’t accessible to them.

It’s a great question and one that drives Yani’s mission. The dog industry has grown fast over the past decade, but there’s still limited guidance for trainers on how to scale their businesses. For Yani’s founder, Sharod, these lessons came from years of trial, error, and lived experience. From navigating setbacks to figuring out what works, he learned by doing—and realized that many trainers were struggling with the same challenges.

That’s why Yani exists: to help trainers cut the learning curve, find a clear path, and accelerate their growth with less stress. We’re here to be the support we wish we’d had. Let us be in your corner as you build your success. 🐾💪 #DogTraining #BusinessGrowth #YaniMission” by @sharods.way

We’re in month 5 of making the big lifestyle change and I honestly did not think I’d love it this much.

Van life seems glamorous AF on social media.
A few months in, I will say it still does come with its own challenges .

I’d just choose these challenges as opposed to the ones that come with living an “ ordinary “ life.

But let’s not speak too soon it’s only been 5 months. A year from now I could feel totally different.

Either way I have no regrets and will keep taking it day by day 👏

Taking every dog that asks for help isn’t making you a better trainer, it’s making you a more exhausted one.

You don’t get extra points for saying yes to cases you already know you’ll regret. Protect your capacity, qualify the case, and save your best work for the clients you actually want to serve.

DM "SYSTEM" and we'll show you how to build a business that doesn't start from zero every month.
