INTRODUCING @shawkdnb

SHAWK has been involved with How It Started since day one, holding it down with soulful and expertly flowing sets, and has been instrumental to the growth of the event.

A known name in the Glasgow Drum & Bass scene, they have played regular sets for @midnightbassdnb , @pray.to.good and more, including our one off Glasgow How It Started, in collaboration with @hometownsoundsystem and @watersidelive.

With SHAWK now moving abroad, it's an honour to have them close for a proper How It Started send off. If you've been to a night before, this is the time to come through to show your love to a proper member of the How It Started family.

❤️❤️

Yes yes - here to announce that in September I will be relocating to Bern, Switzerland for work. 🇨🇭✈️

Had an amazing 10 years in the Scottish & English dnb scenes playing for @midnightbassdnb @pray.to.good & @howitstarted.ldn and many other class promoters supporting ppl like @zar_anima @djhype_playaz @djflight and many many more.

Any promoters wanting me on before I head don’t hesitate to shout me & any shares on this post r mega appreciated.

Gonna be locking into production and mixing w some vids, mixes & tunes (free DL 👀) coming ur way. Gonna be trying my hardest to crack into the Swiss scene as well with class events such as @hotboxzh @liquidsessionsberne @bassinyourfacebern - but we shall see where life takes me.

Special shout outs to @olliejhickey @_corran_ @s0lecta @winslowxyz @imo_lu @tunagednbdundee @egangggg and everyone else I’ve met n shared the bill w over the years.

Big love n see u all soon w some more content 🔊👀
