Set an intention for the week.

Challenges will always be there, but with right framing, life can be pretty enjoyable.

When was the last time you stopped, took a breath, and gave yourself a moment?

It’s Stress Awareness Week, a good opportunity to check in with ourselves and think about the small things that help us feel better.

Stress doesn’t always arrive all at once. Sometimes it’s the build-up of busy days, too many demands, and not quite enough time to stop and catch our breath.

A walk around the block, a few minutes in the garden, or simply taking a moment outside can all make a difference. Because natural health isn’t a luxury, and looking after ourselves shouldn’t feel like another thing on the to-do list.

At Common Nature, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of nature, wherever they live and work.

A little nature can go a long way. 🌿

A recent visit to my brilliant friend Georgia reminded me that while challenges can feel heavy in the moment, it’s really all about perspective.

Measure your challenges against the opportunities that are waiting for you.

Thanks for the reminder @georgiacarmic, you really are a star.

And shoutout to @horatiosgarden for all of the incredible work you do.

A season of mornings in the park. 🍂

As our last morning of the season comes to a close, we’re feeling grateful for this little community, for the time spent together, and for the chance to begin the day connected to nature.

The leaves are turning, the light is changing, and with the clocks going back, the days are getting shorter.

It’s easy to feel the shift towards winter as a reason to retreat indoors. But perhaps these are the moments when we need nature most. A little fresh air, a change of perspective, a moment to pause.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in the park this season. Here’s to staying connected to nature, and to one another, as the seasons change. 🌿

And, one more thing from my time at @blueearthsummit last week.

While it isn’t exactly a new concept, I just want to give a little nod to the benefits of a sauna session.

Thanks to @rooftopsaunas @dryrobe and @icebreakers.hq for the experience

We’re surrounded by people, but are we feeling connected?

Loneliness can be hard to talk about, and it’s not always obvious who’s experiencing it. The latest figures for England show that 7% of adults feel lonely often or always.

At Common Nature, we believe spending time outdoors with other people can be a good place to start. Our walks, workshops, and shared experiences give people a chance to meet, take part, and feel more connected to the places they live.

Because community doesn’t just happen. We have to make space for it.

🌱 Natural health for all.

Last Sunday, Simon, Pete, and the crew came together for a day of getting creative, moving, and connecting with nature. Muddy hands, good company, and plenty of moments worth replaying.

More of this, please. 💚

First Dip of Winter 🌊❄️

Two London cold water communities, one Sunday morning.

On 1 November, @icebreakers.northlondon and @chilly.dippers are teaming up to welcome in the colder months together, and it also happens to be IceBreakers North London’s third birthday, so there’ll be cake 🎂

We’ll start with some movement and breathwork to warm up, get in the water together, and then gather for coffee and conversation. Whether you’ve been dipping for years or have never been in, there’s a place for you. Getting in is entirely optional; turning up is the main thing.

Hosted by @livsharron and @simon_j_lamb

📍 Parliament Hill Fields Lido
🗓 Sunday 1 November, 11:00

Book via the link in bio. Bring a towel, bring a friend, bring a Halloween hangover 👻👋

“Ideas emerge when different worlds collide.”

Day 2 at the Blue Earth Summit. The perfect place to shine a light on natural health practices and wonderful to see so many passionate people doing some good in the world.

Yesterday, Simon took to the main stage to deliver a series of an immersive brain breaks, giving attendees a glimpse at what breathwork and movement can do for the mind and body.

Simon’s highlights included:

> Creating some energetic ‘rain’ before @wildfarmed took to the stage

> Joyful double acting with @sewellcharlotte and @siansutherland

> Cooling off and warming up with @rooftopsaunas x @icebreakers.hq x @dryrobe

> Hanging out with the coolest van and founders in @outbeing.earth

> Remembering that all life comes from play with @manondave

> Being the warm up act for @deborahmeaden - bucket list stuff

Thanks for having us @blueearthsumit 🌎💙🌿
