A fresh chapter for @sisanhotel in Dali, Yunnan.

A lakeside hotel in Dali, set around a central courtyard between Shuanglang’s village streets and Erhai. Recently renovated by Xie Ke, it’s where his approach to hospitality meets the lake.

Textured materials, considered details and shifting courtyard light invite a closer look. Spend the morning exploring the village, then return for an afternoon by the water.

DM us to make Sisan part of your Dali journey.

Opened in early 2020 on the shores of Erhai Lake in Dali, Sisan Shuanglang Hotel @sisanhotel reinterprets traditional Bai architecture through a quiet contemporary lens. Reopened this May after a thoughtful renovation by Xie Ke and the Signyan Design, the hotel reflects a renewed vision of contemporary hospitality — rooted in locality yet shaped by a global sensibility. Curated objects, intuitive craftsmanship, soft rituals of daily care, and a seamless dialogue between village, nature, and space create a slower, a more lived-in, human-centered retreat experience.
