so much big brain activity at this years @offf_mx 🧠🤯 Starting pelican sound was my way of using music, sound, and strategy to push design and branding forward. It was my first real attempt at stepping back from my personal musical ideas and focusing on collaboration—working towards a goal beyond just my vision and growing a business. It’s a trip balancing confidence in your own creativity with the selflessness it takes to do what’s best for a brand or product. Creating your own thing vs adding value to a part of a solution really is just a different conversation and mindset. The better you get at understanding that or where a project lands on the spectrum, the more at peace you’ll be. Idk it’s still weird but it’s a fast track to growth...and pain...but also growth. You’re able to reflect on what made something work within an ecosystem and pinpoint the individuals who become common denominators in great work. After being an attendee last year, I returned to @offf_mx as a collaborator and worked with @hellohornet on the audio experience for the main titles and branding. It was sick as hell and the sound system was loud af 🔊 Don’t be fooled by my 5 minutes of fame on stage before the main titles reveal, followed by a killer presentation by the dude @itay_tevel Shoutout to mezcal and @boldtron for the last minute pep talk to get on stage and share a little bit of the journey. cheers to the absolute legends @adrianamoram @snasksthlm @mike.vs.machine @timothygoodman @andwalsh @volvoxlabs @googledesign @cocolab.mx @rrrrube @landistanaka @waferhero @silasveta @man.vs.machine @nvsvy @alejandromasferrer and to @josue_ibanez @offfest @pepsalazar for the amazing opportunity 🙏🏼 see ya next yearrrr 🪅 taken in Mexico City, Mexico by @skostaras

Bringing the heat to London to accompany the homie @kmx15 on string duty for his London debut. Playing live in this capacity has been a long time coming and to be doing it at @fielddayfestivals & @lostvillagefestival alongside a prolific artist and friend is top notch. The lineups just about made me vomit. It’s about go off!! 🚀🚀🚀 by @skostaras

Aaand that’s a wrap! It has been a long time coming and a long time since communicating with you all. Just a (somewhat) quick update on what I’ve been up to over the last little while: I’m excited to share that over the last year I was able to help shape the sound and soundtrack for @rainbowstudiosgames & @thqnordic’s latest game ‘Monster Jam Steel Titans 2’. I contributed to 14 original songs as well as the sound design for the game. So stoked about some of these tracks and moments in the game Huge shoutout to my man @orphine__ for the opportunity, trust, and believing in me to thrive in the wild world of game audio. The game is out on all platforms today!🥳🏁🎮 This also unofficially announces my latest venture @pelican.sound which brings music + sound design to visuals, games and brands. I’ve been spending a lot of energy over there, fostering a community that has allowed me to thrive creatively and in a commercial capacity. Looots of cool stuff happening there. Drop a follow and come say hi! 👋 Lastly, I plan to be using my personal page for new music, personal projects, and bits and pieces from @pelican.sound. Appreciate everyone’s support over the years ♥️ by @skostaras
