Slamvent 2026

The 6th year of the original yarn Advent that includes super bulky yarn as an option.

Slamvent is a 12 Day, full skein yarn advent to make to your December a little more joyful.

Each day is individually wrapped, there lots of maker tools included, and once again you’ll get a custom @deneen_pottery mug!!

You get to choose from 9 different yarns, 6 or 12 days of yarn, and I always offer a payment plan (total is split into 6 payments!!).

🚨Slam Fiber NEW and Restocked yarn is LIVE🚨

Every time I get to unpack a box of new yarn, I get this overwhelming sense of gratitude for this little instagram/facebook page evolving into a small business. How lucky are we? A little knitting page is now a knitting, yarn, embroidery, and small business you can find in several OTHER small businesses AND we carry products from other small, women owned businesses? How cool is that!

Plus I get to do this with my sister, mom, aunt, great aunt, and SO many more people that constantly help and support us.

There’s plenty of Ready to Ship Skeins (I’ll send out this mornings orders today…) and you can also order any base you want and I’ll dye them up in the next few days.

That’s right. She still doesn’t have a stem 😂

Weird Science #6!!

Weird Science is a series where myself and now 3 other dyers decide on the same exact dyes to use, we create our own colorway, then we reveal them all.

Each time we have done this experiment, the colorways are always unique. There are limitless ways to apply dye to yarn, mix dyes, speckle or not speckle.

My colorway, Weird Pumpkin, will be available for pre-order this Friday, October 2nd. I may even have some ready to ship skeins available. The preorder will be a super quick turnaround, so my Canadian friends can hopefully knit pumpkins while their Thanksgiving turkey cooks.

Tabitha, Liz and Trish’s colorways will also be available Friday, so go check them out too!

Check her out on super bulky! I have procured Canadian-milled super bulky yarn and so my USA customers can rest assured (for now) your super bulky yarn qualifies for USMCA status which means no tariffs. For now. 🤦‍♀️
