“Look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before.” ~ Jacob Riis 🪨 NEW PATTERN RELEASE 🪨 My fiber friend Jennifer @knitbyjennifer has released her newest pattern and it is perfection! Written with super bulky yarn and in an adult size, The Split Rock Beanie is sure to be your new favorite for friends, family, and market makings! It is quick off of your needles and features captivating cables! A stunner! I knit mine in a dreamy skein of Slam Fiber Co Chub Club 3 in April. Photos do not do this color way justice! 🚨Slam Fiber NEW and Restocked yarn is LIVE🚨 Every time I get to unpack a box of new yarn, I get this overwhelming sense of gratitude for this little instagram/facebook page evolving into a small business. How lucky are we? A little knitting page is now a knitting, yarn, embroidery, and small business you can find in several OTHER small businesses AND we carry products from other small, women owned businesses? How cool is that! Plus I get to do this with my sister, mom, aunt, great aunt, and SO many more people that constantly help and support us. Thanks @slamfiberco for being here with us, shop Sam’s yarn on our page if you’re needing a fresh skein for that fall project! 🧶 Munger Trail Knits is a pair of sisters who love taking on custom knitting and embroidery projects. We also have a fun selection of hand dyed yarns. DM us or check out our website to order! #ChunkyKnit #CozyKnits #MungerTrailKnits #yarnlover #yarnstagram

“Be yourself and the right people will love you.” ~ Taylor Swift 🫣 SNEEK PEEK🫣 In a world obsessed with perfection, it is hard to stand alone in authenticity. You don’t always match. You’re usually a mess. And, to be honest, you really don’t care. Meet the Just a Mitt pattern by my fabulously fabulous fiber friend Sahnya @unraveled.handknits . Using captivating corrugated ribbing, her pattern has made the cuff the star of the show. This mitt is a bit of a misfit. She’s sassy. She’s one of kind. She’s not afraid of standing on her own. Get your needles ready… she drops tomorrow! Featured Yarns: Malabrigo Rasta in Frank Ochre and Caramel alongside Slam Fiber Co Chub Club 3 November SB141. #fiberartistsofinstagram #justamitt #newmittenpattern #corrugatedknitting #knitmittens

Did you know that my Cable Braid Beanie pattern can be made brimless? You can knit it up with a traditional ribbed brim or make it brimless like these. Because of the cable design, it has the knits and purls right in the pattern to make a nice, head-hugging beanie without the tradition ribbing! And it pairs so nicely with the Cable Braid Mittens or Fingerless Mitts, to make a fabulous gift set for that someone special in your life … and that someone special just might be you! 😉 Indulge in luxury this year with soft, natural, breathable 100% merino wool winter accessories! Pattern: #cablebraidbeanie Designer: me 🙋‍♀️ @thebashfullamb Fibre: super bulky merino wool from @seatoskydesigns, @baahyarn, @slamfiberco Pattern available in my Ravelry or Etsy Shops, and you can check out my selection of ready-to-ship beanies/toques/hats and loads of other winter accessories in my Etsy Shop!
