Some amazing news over the last couple of weeks that I’m thrilled to share!

Our new Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Emergency Medicine Residency Program is officially ACGME accredited and ready to welcome our first class of emergency medicine residents in July 2027!

And just shortly after, our Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program received ACGME accreditation and will welcome its first fellow in July 2028!

Oh, and one more thing… we’re becoming a Level I Trauma Center! 🙌

So many new opportunities for education, training, and patient care. What an amazing next couple of years we have ahead of us!

🗳️ ACEP EUS voting is open!

I’m excited to be running for ACEP Emergency Ultrasound Section Chair-Elect.

For 25 years, the ACEP ultrasound community has done an extraordinary job building a generation of ultrasound-trained emergency physicians.

Our next opportunity is implementation — making POCUS easier to use in everyday emergency medicine practice.
 🔹 Remove barriers — workflow, documentation, credentialing, QA, archival, billing & coding 🔹 Meet physicians where they are and help them use the exams that meaningfully change their practice 🔹 Standardize so we can innovate — including new ways to bring POCUS into triage, waiting rooms, urgent care, and beyond the traditional bedside

I would be honored to serve our incredible ultrasound community as ACEP EUS Chair-Elect.

So fun to be a part of the annual tradition of NEO Intern #POCUS day! Every year, #pocus powerhouse programs in northeast Ohio gather to train the interns across multiple #emergencymedicine programs on the basics of ultrasound so that they hit their intern year running!
