Fish and Chips @huntersheadtavern
.
This is a British classic done right!
.
Worth the travel time to Upperville, VA.
.
“Located in a restored 18th-century building in Virginia’s hunt country, Hunter’s Head Tavern is a historic farm-owned gastropub led by Master Sommelier Jarad Slipp. It specializes in British-inspired pub fare and sustainable, locally sourced ingredients originating nearby from Ayrshire Farm.”

Dinner at @hotelpetersburg Shirley’s Restaurant.
.
Delicious!
.
Catch of the Day - featured a buttery 6 oz. lobster tail, fresh tagliatelle, rich bouillabaisse broth and grilled garlic bread (We omitted the garlic bread. At the end of the meal, I wish I got the bread to sop up the broth).

“The kind of dinner that makes slowing down completely worth it.”
