FRANCISCAN MONASTERY OF THE HOLY LAND IN AMERICA - Yesterday doing our bike ride, we stopped at the monastery to check out their garden.

I’ve driven past here for years and I always thought I needed to check out the gardens.

Definitely worth a visit. Next time I’ll take the tour. We only had about 20 minutes to walk through.

My heart is so full. What started as a few lonely people looking for friends during COVID became a true, thriving, and supportive community. Biking is beautiful and even more beautiful are the people on the bikes. Thank you for breathing life into a world that feels like it's falling apart. Thank you for all the moments of joy, for caring and holding each other in tragedy, and for bringing your full self to every ride. As we prepare to head out, I am filled with gratitude. The rides will continue (please DM us if you're interested in helping to lead rides!). But more than that, the spirit of generosity, of radical acceptance, of open welcome that we have tried to embody will continue on through each of you. Ride on! 🚲🚲

Normally I pick up a premade container of this @hmartofficial in Northern Virginia when I shop for Asian groceries. However, since the price seems to be rising, I decided to give this dish a try at home.

Thinly Sliced Ribeye

Sweet Onion
Shiitake Mushrooms

Note: Every recipe I read said this was an easy dish… I used half of my pots and bowls 🤣This was not easy. But I have enough for several meals and enough to freeze for later. Well worth the effort.
