We have hit the big time!!! We are a stop on a book tour!!!

The November Silly Point will be headlined by Stefan Mohamed. He has been all over the country this autumn with his latest book, The Revelation Tapes, and we are really honoured to be part of that tour.

Stefan is an award-winning author, poet and creative writing tutor who writes often, but not exclusively, and hopefully in a funny way, about the brain-scrambling hell of modern life. He is the author of five novels, including 2025's The House on Utopia Way, and five books of poetry. The Revelation Tapes was published this year with Broken Sleep Books. He lives in Bristol with his family and cat. He is also a DJ. Follow him at @stefmowords

The open mic sign-up form is live, and you can also purchase your ticket in advance using the QR code or the link in the bio.

See you soon x

Had a lovely time at Word Stir in Totnes yesterday, sharing poems with a very warm and welcoming crowd in front of a yellow door, surrounded by books (thanks so much @harulaladd for the pics, for the invitation, and for tip top hosting). Great open mic as well, really enjoyed hearing everybody's poems.

One of the really heartening things about this tour has been having the opportunity to see just how many communities there are all over the place who are taking the time to gather and share their words. In the face of a tidal wave of AI slop, and a political / media climate that would have you believe that non-fascists are the minority, it feels vital to have these inclusive, supportive, creative spaces.

Next stop @fireanddust.poetry in Coventry on Thursday, then @candlelitslam in Bath next Tuesday!
