The Bitter Sixteen trilogy is now available in Swallow Library.
Cynical, solitary Stanly Bird is a fairly typical teenager – unless you count the fact that his best friend is a talking beagle named Daryl, and that he gained the powers of flight and telekinesis when he turned sixteen.
Small-town Wales is not ready for a superhero, but is Stanly ready for London?

📣📣2023 PERFORMANCE SELLING FAST! GET YOUR TICKETS NOW 📣📣

@stefmowords FAREWELL TOUR: THE PEN, LONDON

4th MARCH | 7:30pm

Join writer and performer Stefan Mohamed for a surreal, blackly comic journey around a collapsing country.

Your island is sinking. Your soggy kingdom. Your deflated swamp. Your sulky empire where it’s always Tuesday morning. But there’s still time before it all collapses - so why not take a tour?

Board the End-of-the-Road Trips coach and join your tour guide for a surreal journey around a haunted, haunting, cursed and cursing land. Swoon at the curated majesty of the country’s first official ‘influencer county’!

Howl with laughter at Normal Island, the nation’s favourite sitcom! Raise an eyebrow at the house that cannot physically be lived in! Wince as your reality becomes increasingly surreal and grotesque - and ask yourself, exactly how trustworthy is this tour guide?

A topical rollercoaster of pitch black comedy and riotous wordplay, Farewell Tour is the debut full-length theatrical show from poet and novelist Stefan Mohamed.

Featuring original music by Oscar Lyons and animation by Henry Edmonds.

“Deliciously apocalyptic”- @molly.naylor
“Funnier than a show has the right to be" - @bristol247

Today marks my 5 year anniversary of living in Bristol, and in a couple of days so too is my 5 year anniversary of my jumping into spoken word. Here's a few highlights and some of my favourite people I've met along the way. What a 5 years it's been.

1. An early career open mic slot at Spotlight in 2018, the same place I first performed in November 2017.
2. My first performance at @bristoltonic, what a ride that's turned out to be.
3. Two of the best housemates a man could ask for 💔
4. The best Escape Room team a man could ask for.
5. The Bristol Slam finalists from the first Lyra Fest. What people! What talent!
6. When I headlined the first night I ever performed at in my full Cornish regalia. 2019!
7. (Then) Team Tonic before a summer day out. I owe this beautiful man so much. A wonderful giving human is Chris.
8. Performing live on BBC Bristol for Upload with Adam Crowther.
9. Recording for BBC Bitesize about my work as a Cornish language performer.

@shambalafest was off the scale!! Definitely top of the leader board with @eldoradofestival as my best festival of the year.
@villagecircus @twistedtimemachine @nakedpopquiz and @house.of.dinosaur in full effect, absolutely popping off at our Shambolympics venue all weekend, utter, beautiful hilarious carnage for three days, including an amazing wedding on the Friday afternoon.
Musical highlights were @jimineedles on Saturday night @chaiwallahs Alongside @mistatrick and @fizzygillespie in @swingamajig - big tunes, big vibes!! 🥳🥳

It was wonderful to see our community come together to raise money for Ukraine last night, from people lending time, organising raffles, building site, to baking cakes, cooking wonderful food, lending kit and playing great music, everyone found a way to contribute their skills - thank you @rusticcampers for bringing us all together and making it happen.
